It tastes good, but salty. I think this is one of the reasons for the poor performance of the yeast. Tonight I'm going to repeat the production of this recipe with milk and 1 - 1.3 tablespoons of salt. Let's see what happens.

Milk (3.2%) - 270 ml
Butter - 25 g.
Sugar - 1 + 3/4 tbsp. l

Yeast - 1.5 tsp.
Powdered milk - 1 tbsp. l.

Since I have a bread maker with a somewhat strange program and the main mode is 3 hours, I set the program to French bread and weight 700 g (time - 3 hours 40 minutes). The gingerbread man turned out to be amazing. The bread rose gorgeous. But, when baking, the little crumb sagged and the bread was as high as in the pictures of other bakers. Probably stopped. It was necessary to interrupt the proofing 15-20 minutes earlier and then just bake.
But all the same, this bread turned out to be the most fragrant that I had tried before. Delicious and soft (although, I believe, and not as soft as intended).
