Ingredients

Dry yeast 2.25 tsp
Flour 3 cups (240 ml)
Salt 1.5 tsp.
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Powdered milk 3 tbsp. l.
Butter 2 tbsp. l.
Egg 2 pcs.
Water 1 cup and 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Lay according to the instructions. Fast baking.
  • Melt butter, pour in warm. Beat eggs, pour into a measuring cup, add water to the 240 ml mark. I baked many times in the accelerated mode (1 hour 55 minutes) - without breakdown. The bread always comes out OK! Very airy. By weight 630 g, less than prescription.

We baked egg bread on quail eggs. Instead of 2 chicken, 10 quail were chopped. The rest of the recipe was not changed. The bread is fluffy and tall. The taste practically does not differ from the one cooked on chicken eggs. Except for a very subtle aftertaste. And even then, this is a subjective and barely perceptible thing.
Conclusion: It is possible to add quail eggs to the dough, but this leads not so much to an improvement in the quality of bread as to its rise in price.
