Lecho A la Picador

Ingredients:

tomato 3 Kg
bell pepper 1 kg
garlic 6-7 teeth
sugar 1 glass
salt 1 tbsp. the spoon

Cooking method

  • 1. Remove the skin from the tomato (To do this, put them in boiling water for 1-2 minutes)

  • 2. Chop all vegetables (pepper, garlic-strips, tomatoes into cubes) Chop the garlic!

  • 3. Put half of all tomatoes, peppers and garlic in a saucepan, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.

  • 4. Add the rest of the tomatoes, salt and sugar and cook for another 30 minutes

  • 5. Arrange in banks and roll up.

For those who still have tomatoes, peppers and the strength to process them. The recipe was found on a loose-leaf calendar 19 years ago. When my daughter tried this lecho for the first time, she said:
-Mum! We don't need any "picador" now!
Since then, this name has stuck with us, well, this recipe.

From these products, 3 liters are obtained and a little more for a sample. Delicious!


You don't need to sterilize, but I put the cans under my fur coat, just in case.
