Paella (Cuckoo 1054)

Paella (Cuckoo 1054)

Ingredients

Bulb onions 1 PC
Bulgarian red pepper 2 pcs
Garlic 5 teeth
Olive oil 4.5 tbsp. l
Paprika 2 tbsp. l
Tomatoes 3 large
Salt taste
Saffron pinch
Seafood Cocktail 500g.
Rice 3 m. St
Water 4 m. St.

Cooking method

  • I took the recipe from the site Good food from Homa.
  • I did it a little differently. I had a 500 g seafood cocktail. I didn't use chicken and shrimp.
  • I cooked like this:
  • Onions in the FRYING mode - fried, then added garlic, pepper. Then I put rice, tomatoes, saffron with water, paprika powder, green peas - mixed everything and fried for another 5 minutes (in total - fried for 15 minutes). Then she poured water. I put the PLOV mode.

Note

I liked my daughter, but I think it turned out not very well. It turned out something in between porridge and pilaf. It was necessary to overcook the rice a little more, hastened. Next time I'll be more attentive.

Cook !!! When did you add the meat ??? Here you did not follow the sequence correctly. And yet .... it is better to cook on the Multipovar. I can advise you about the REAL paella, I learned how to cook it directly in Spain, if you want ...
Cook
Star! I didn’t add meat. I did it only with a seafood cocktail. If you share your secrets of making paella, I will be immensely grateful to you.

Right now I'm going there and I'll take a recipe from a real chef and post it right away !!!
Tanyulya
Olya,I will wait.
I cook paella as follows: First I fry the meat (chicken), then in the following sequence: onion, garlic, season with paprika, saffron, salt, red bell pepper and tomatoes. Then I add rice, fry everything together (for a cuckoo, I think the total roasting time should be 3-4 minutes at 2-3 levels, the time depends on the amount of food). I pour everything in broth and add seafood (I almost never add beans and peas) (for a cuckoo, it seems to me, "Multipovar" 120 degrees minutes 5-7 or "Oven" 2 level 15-20 minutes, also depends on the number of products).
I have never done it in a cuckoo, but I want to try, as soon as I do, I will post a photo.

Tanyulya! Thank you so much for the recipe. Only now has appeared at home and immediately to the computer. I will definitely try to cook according to your recipe. Thanks again!

And there is no chicken and seafood in the recipe ...

And the recipe has gone somewhere. There is nothing in it. It will be necessary to restore everything.

Here are the words of the author:

1 onion
2 small sweet red peppers
5 cloves of garlic
4.5 tbsp. l olive oil
2 tbsp. paprika powder
3 large peeled tomatoes
salt to taste
a pinch of saffron
300 gr shrimp
300 gr chicken
3 cartoon cups of rice (I had Jasmine, but ideally needs Risotto)
5 and a half cartoon cups of salted shrimp broth

On the "Pilaf" mode, you get porridge. Better to put on the "Multi-Cook" mode.

Something with the recipe is not right ... correct it. plizzzz. And I would like a photo!

For the 2nd day I use the cartoon ... due to the lack of ingredients in the recipe (acroma of the vegetable part), I prepared instructions with the fool according to the recipe ... 10 minutes of evaporation and a delicious porridge with seafood from the chicken ...

I read the recipe in the original: for 3 MC of rice - 5.5 MC of water ... it comes out almost 1 to 2 ... in my instructions for 2 MC of rice - 4 MC of water ...soup came out ... I realized that water should be poured 1 to 1 ... maybe wrong?

Caprice... also how right. "The further into the forest, the more wood and wood chips" For me, MV is both a slow cooker and a microwave ... about the issued message inadvertently shows the culture and respect for the members of the forum, and later there are fewer questions and clarifications.
Oxysss
Sorry, of course, for the MC, but as I read, you all use this abbreviation. I won't do it anymore.
Well, thanks for the unanswered question too. And, apparently, I will not ask any more either - suddenly I will ask something wrong ... I will insult "disrespect" ...

Well, why be offended? Yesterday I was in a hurry, I had to turn off the computer. If you have any questions, please ask, we are always happy to answer them.

Everything was gone, both the photo and the recipe. Everything needs to be restored. I will try to do it quickly.

Well, a microwave is still a microwave

Don't be offended. I do not cook rice in a slow cooker and I do not know how it is in the MC, but I always cook rice for two cups of rice - three cups of water. For example, for cooking in the microwave, this proportion is ideal.

Yes, hurry up! (just kidding)
In fact, this dish is very interesting for me. Since I love all the rice dishes and paella seems to me something "mysterious" and not entirely clear. For me, this is not compatible, as it were (chicken and seafood). But ... people cook, eat and praise.
And here, as here, at least 10 people will cook according to the recipe, share their impressions and secrets. Here is the determination and will increase.

Lenochka, there is a recipe, only a photo. I'll try to cook it soon, but I can't promise for sure. Now, before leaving, is a "hot" time.
Elenka
Agreed!
Olga, thanks for the recipe!
Tanyulya
Olga, there will be a reason to cook this yummy one more time. (I can't find my photo)
If I cook it in the near future, then only meatless.
Cook

I always cook it meatless.

Girls, in general, do not put onions in paella (though I only know about Valencian) and they have either green beans or mostly chickpeas in all paellas. : girl_skakalka: I also ate paella with pasta, such small horns ........ sooooo liked it

Today I cooked Paella again. Delicious.

Ol, as far as I read paella recipes are great and many have onions.

Olyushka, thanks for the information. You can try cooking without onions.
Oxysss
On Blank - put onions. Since I live in Calpe for six months, they cook there like this: a container, a little olive, beans, garlic, a little tomato, reptiles in shells (large) + small peeled, a couple of scoops of fish broth from a nearby boiler. lid, 15 minutes (in my understanding, the system of cooking a frying pan-wok).

Thank you very much for the clarification. We have reptiles, and even bigger ones in shells cannot be bought. , but I would like to.
