I have one "fad". I am simply unable to throw away food. So my "kitchen production" is practically waste-free. For me, it is a "matter of honor" to attach the leftovers of yesterday's garnish! So I sometimes cook such casseroles.

"Cheeky casserole".

Minced cutlet according to your recipe. In my case it is
500 gr mixed minced meat
1 large onion
3-4 cloves of garlic
1 carrot
3 table. spoons of semolina soaked in milk
1 egg
salt, pepper, spices, fresh or dry herbs to taste.

Pass the minced meat through a blender, put half of the minced meat in a mold (if the mold is not silicone, put it with baking paper), put half of the minced meat in the mold, put the filling in the middle, cover with the second half of the minced meat. You can grease the top with sour cream or mayonnaise, ketchup, just spread thin pieces of butter (I prefer butter with herbs and garlic). Bake in the oven until golden brown. If the minced meat gives too much juice, drain the juice (only when it becomes transparent!) And use for preparing a side dish.
In the first photo, the filling is yesterday's vermicelli, in the second, the leftover beans with fried onions and a handful of chopped nuts.

Sassy casserole)))

The sauce is as sassy as the casserole!
Real Honduras sauce! Gravy from yesterday's meat with vegetables, passed through a blender and very slightly boiled. And the sauce turns out to be very tasty!
