Branded cabbage rolls
Category: Meat dishes
Ingredients
Meat 1 kg
Large cabbage roach 1 pc.
Rice 80 g
Egg ~ 10 pcs.
Greens
Salt, pepper to taste
Cooking method

Pour boiling water over the cabbage without the stalk, or put it in the freezer overnight, and defrost it in the morning. Divide into leaves and cut off thicknesses from them.
Boil meat and rice until tender. Grind the meat and mix with rice and herbs. Add salt and pepper.
Fry omelette pancakes from eggs, at the rate of 1 egg - 1 pancake. Cut each omelette into 4 pieces (like a pizza).
Then we collect cabbage rolls:
Put a triangle of omelet on a cabbage leaf, then mince. Wrap as usual.
Then put in one layer in a mold, pour quite a bit of water, grease with sour cream, and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Notes:
Rice can be added up to 100 grams without sacrificing flavor.
With raw minced meat, as well as with other minced meat options, it is also delicious. For a couple - super. Especially if the cabbage is not poured with boiling water, but baked whole in the oven.
I usually make a lot of these cabbage rolls, I freeze one part.

Note
Stuffed cabbage rolls are very juicy and tasty.

Highly recommend!

I have never made cabbage rolls, but there is a desire to try to make them according to your recipe.
There are questions: an omelet, as far as I know, is an egg with milk, but there is no milk in the recipe ... or is the amount at your discretion? or don't you need milk at all?
And yet ... for one cabbage roll to use a whole cabbage leaf or is it some part? And "wrap it up as usual" is it like (I understand that this is generally a delighting question, but still ...)?

Anyutochka, it turns out such thin egg pancakes, without milk.

Here, it depends on which cabbage leaf. If you like large cabbage rolls, then make from a whole sheet. And if you like it smaller, then cut the sheet into 2 parts. For this recipe, I cut into 2 parts, along the thickening. Or, if the leaf is small, then I do not cut it.

Usually stuffed cabbage rolls are wrapped in the form of a tube, with the edges tucked inward. This will prevent the filling from falling out. That is, put a triangular piece of egg pancake on a cabbage leaf, then put the filling on one edge (along), and wrap the tube, tucking the edges of the leaf inward.

The second option for wrapping stuffed cabbage rolls is in the form of a "bag". Such, as from the newspaper, in which old ladies used to sell seeds, only this "little bag" must also be wrapped on top so that the filling does not fall out.
Looks nice and sturdy.

Thanks for the clarification
I made stuffed cabbage, though it turned out a little, but for the first time it was enough (I did half the portion).
Very tasty

The first time I see this method of preparing cabbage for stuffed cabbage. It is usually boiled either in water or in the microwave. But to freeze ?! Very curious, I will definitely try!

.
kavmins
celfh, and I fry the minced meat slightly - I like it more, and some carrots and onions are fried and tomato is added)) quince gives an unusual taste, if you put its slices among cabbage rolls, add potatoes in slices, but I did not do it with egg pancakes - it will be necessary try it somehow, thanks to the author for the recipe)
Jiri
kavmins, Marina, still freeze cabbage, according to the recipe.
kavmins
Jiri, Irochka, for sure, I am inattentive, thanks for noticing my mistake))))))))) girls, forgive me
and then you really need to try to freeze it, it will be great - I don't have a microwave, and boiling a head of cabbage is always such an inconvenience ...
Jiri
Frozen cabbage snotty after all, I wonder what will happen here?
kavmins, Marinochka, do you get juicy filling with fried minced meat? Why am I on fire on these stuffed cabbage.
kavmins
Irochka, and I was freezing semi-finished stuffed cabbage - the cabbage behaved normally ..
about fried minced meat - you can't say that it is juicy, I just like this taste more .. since childhood I got used to it - my mother used to cook like that and the rice must be half-cooked, you can't raw it)
Rusalca
What a revival in Temka! And then there was a lull since 2010!
kavmins
Rusalca, it's good that they raised Temka - at least not right away, but I learned the way of freezing instead of boiling)))) I love stuffed cabbage, but when you remember about fiddling with boiling, you immediately dropped your hands .. and now it would be such a wonderful solution!
