Stewed red cabbage with apple and beets in a slow cooker

Ingredients

Red cabbage 1 / 2-1 / 3 middle fork
Onion 1 head
Beet 1-2 pcs.
Apple 1 large
Apple vinegar
+ water up to 1/2 volume mult. glasses
1-2 tbsp. l.
Salt taste
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Shred the onion, sauté it in vegetable oil on the "Baking" program.
  • Shred cabbage, combine with onions. Put the grated beets there. Salt, fill with a mixture of vinegar and water, mix, level, on top - apple slices (better than hard varieties, it will retain its shape).
  • We switch to the "Pilaf" mode, prepare before the signal (1 hour is enough - you can turn it off without waiting for the signal).

Note

Red cabbage has a light mushroom aroma, interesting taste. Beetroot and apple make a great combination.

Bon Appetit!

Great recipe and great video! I enjoyed watching it and I still think what else would be so interesting with red cabbage. Tell me, what about your video? I look at the same photo.

Glad you liked it, thank you. Still, red cabbage has a richer taste, and we rarely use it. She's good in this recipe. And the video is mine.
