Pea soup in the LandLife pressure cooker
Category: First courses
Ingredients
Pork on the bone
Bulb onions
Carrot
Potatoes
Salt
Peas 2 cups
Smoked loin
Water up to 4/5 of the pan
Cooking method

I fried it in a pressure cooker - the lid is off, the time is 4 minutes (in principle, it doesn't matter how many minutes: no pressure - the time does not count), so I fried the onions and carrots, then I put frozen meat (pork on the bone), chopped potatoes, salt, seasoning for soup, peas, 2 cups from a pressure cooker (remember: they are the same with a slow cooker) and a couple more pieces of smoked loin (I made it myself). She poured water almost to the very edge (it's still a lot - you need to fill the pan less, by 4/5). I put the lid, valve, and turned on the SOF program. After 50 minutes. the soup was ready, turned off the heating and put a wet towel on the lid. BUT .. I wetted the towel 4 times, there was a lot of water in the soup, and when I tried to open the valve, not steam came out of it, but broth !!! Then she disconnected the pressure cooker from the mains, and after a while the valve quietly released the air. I opened the lid, and there was a beautiful soup!
I sfokayu today - yesterday the strength was gone. The peas are all boiled, the potatoes are not boiled, but simply boiled, the meat is also ready. It tastes okay, but I'll find out more precisely tonight.
In a slow cooker, I cook soup in a similar way, only 1.5-2 hours comes out in time - it depends on the peas. But the soup is always delicious)))) (thank God))))

Can I add my own recipe?

=====================
To make pea soup, we need:
smoked ribs (I take 4 ribs, you can take one knuckle), 2 medium potatoes, carrots, onion, 2 measuring cups of dry peas, salt, black peppercorns, bay leaf, herbs, 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

Preparation: cut the onion with carrots (carrots can be grated on a coarse grater) and fry on the rast. oil in the "Rice" mode.
=====================
Then add the ribs (the meat from them must be partially cut and cut into pieces), chopped potatoes, peas, salt and spices.

=====================

If you want, you can immediately add greens, but I prefer to add them to the finished soup. Fill with water up to the upper mark. Press the "Cancel" button, then close the lid and valve and press "Soup". After 40 minutes, the soup will be ready (the peas will boil down, and the potatoes will remain in pieces). :-)

I also cook pea soup now only in a pressure cooker, I have Alby - she is very similar to Land Life, only I have the "Beans" mode aka "Stewing". For 40-50 minutes, dry peas, which I don't even pre-soak, just rinse them before cooking, boil them in a puree soup. And really, surprisingly, the potatoes are soft, melt in your mouth, but not boiled down into trash.

I usually list Beef or Poultry, depending on the type of meat I put in the pea soup. In both modes, it cooks well. On poultry for 25 minutes, on beef-40

I was inspired by this recipe and made the first soup in my pressure cooker today.
I bought smoked ribs and pork bones especially for this.
For every fireman, I set the time for 25 minutes in soup mode.
The potatoes are slightly boiled. But this is most likely because of our variety, it always boils and falls apart in the soup.
Almost all the peas are boiled, only a few pieces of peas remain.

Thank you for making soup according to your recipe. Delicious! The only thing, the soup was cooked on smoked duck wings. The family is very happy.
