Bread with brown rice (Author Olga Mikhailyuk)

Ingredients

Wheat flour 3 cups
Water 2/3 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Olive oil 1 ½ tbsp. l.
Dry yeast (active dry yeast) 1 ½ tsp
Brown rice 1/3 cup

Cooking method

  • Boil 2/3 cup of water, add rice, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes (15 minutes according to the recipe, but I didn't like the crunch of the grains on my teeth).
  • Place ½ cup of cooked rice in a 2-cup measuring cup. Add enough olive oil and warm water to bring the total mixture to 1 ½ cup. Pour into a bucket of bread maker, add the rest of the ingredients.

Cooking program:

Mode: "basic", medium crust.
