I bought myself a Teskomov rub. Can you please tell me, can you wipe boiled mashed potatoes on it? Or is it better not to risk it?

both sieves from the same manufacturer - Karl Weis, only the first has a mesh of 1.5 mm
The second is more expensive. there are no reviews for it. It is embarrassing that the holes 2.2 / 5/8 .. probably only the smallest will be in demand ... Then why pay more?
what do you think?
Has anyone used one like in the first picture? Does this wooden roller make sense?
In general, the summer cottage and the berries will begin soon, and I'm still thinking which one to order ... Help with the choice, please.
notglass
If you wipe the berries, it is better with a fine mesh, on the second small seeds from raspberries will slip, the second is good for tomatoes, but large cells, well, I don't know. I just have separate sieves with different mesh. On shallow grapes, very good. On the one that is slightly larger, tomatoes for juice and mashed potatoes, but on large ones for orchids I sift the substrate, they were not used in the kitchen. That's how it is with me.

Now I came home and measured my inserts and I am confused by the fact that 2.2 mm is an average size for me, and the raspberries and currants on it cannot be pitted! They will fail!
The smallest I have is 1.7-1.8 mm - just for raspberries / currants
I don’t know how 1.5 from the second Karl Weiss will behave - no matter how tight and slowly it wipes ...

Light
notglass, julifera, thanks for the answers and advice!
I looked at my colander, measured 1 mm holes in it.
yeah, 2.2 mm is too much. I decided, if I don't find it better, I'll take it with a wooden roller ...

Good day. Beautiful girls, I just bought a mechanical sieve from Tescom, but it clicks something when you twist it by the handle, can you tell me, is this the way it should be or a marriage? And the spring scratches the top of the handle and the bottom. Thanks in advance for your reply
olgea
I also have a question for the owners of the wiping sieve, I bought it, but the main thing in the middle is scratching the grill with holes and it goes so tightly, should it be?
Karry79
Doxy, Tell me, please, do you have experience with the Teskomovsky sieve. Is the new sieve clicky and metal-to-metal rubbing is the norm? Or will this not happen with food? I'm afraid to fish. If there is a marriage, there is an opportunity to hand it over to the store.
Tashenka
Even though I don't
Quote: Karry79
Doxy,
, but I will answer. Can? And it clicks and slides metal on metal. But due to such a tight fit, there is an almost waste-free wiping of the product. Cottage cheese, potatoes, boiled vegetables are rubbed into a tender mass without a single lump. In the summer I rubbed fresh berries in ice cream. I have been using it for a long time and am very satisfied.
Karry79
Oh thank you! I was already starting to worry that I had bought nonsense. Although I really love Teskiy. The first test - the class - grated the curd in an instant. Previously, grinding cottage cheese was torture for me (I entrusted this hard and tedious work to my husband). Wow! No words! I am impressed!
Zabava
Hello hostess! I will join the discussion. I've had such a sieve for six months, I'm very happy! When working, there is a slight grinding of metal, but once it began to click, it turns out I did not match the grooves on the case and the protrusions on the disk, so assemble carefully
Lenusya
Who has both of these things? Do tomatoes rub better on a wipe-sieve or other? And is it a necessary thing in the household? What is rubbed in them? Which is better? It seems to me that it is more convenient to wipe with a sieve.

Sieve (electrical and mechanical) for cleaning

I have both ... and I also bought a third ... Similar to the second, but with a larger diameter.

You can grind tomatoes in any.But the diameter limits the speed .... I was grinding apple puree in a big one in the fall after a juicer .... There were 12 large boxes of apples. Puree from one tab in a juicer was ground in 10 minutes. To say that I am happy is to say nothing. I use all 3, I'm not going to part with any

And more. Now I make mashed potatoes only through the rub. It turns out much tastier

I read this topic and was perplexed: does no one have a screw nozzle for a meat grinder? I use this for no-remember-how many-years, there are no problems at all.
Puree of red currant, yoshta, tomatoes - the output is pure puree without foam and dry cake separately. It is worth a penny. Here's a (http)

Olga, this attachment is for a simple meat grinder. And now many have electric ones.
I have such a nozzle, even 2 pieces. One brand new in the package. She did not go with us. Bought for tomato juice, when wiping, the holes in the nozzle were clogged at a time. It was necessary to constantly unwind and peel it, almost after every tomato.

So I also have an electric meat grinder, hmm, and it is not particularly hard to clog. I am very pleased with her! Anyway, you can try, it's not expensive
marina-asti
How well I found the topic!
And please tell me, owners of wiping mechanical sieves, is it really possible to wipe the plum / turner on this? I want to make something like a sauce or a sauce blank, but there is a fine plum and a sloe. I'll throw in the plum, boil it, and then I want to wipe it, won't the large bones interfere with the work of such a sieve?

I bought something, a small report. I ordered a Paderno puree cleaning machine in the online store. Today they delivered ... hell knows what exactly, but I did not find the Paderno inscription, with all my desire, it turned out to be the inscription Moulin 2, however, Yandex did not give me anything intelligible from such an inscription.

Sieve (electrical and mechanical) for cleaning

However, the unknown crap, at least at first glance, looks very worthy. The design is not flimsy, nothing dangles, the set includes 3 replaceable wiping discs with holes 1.5, 2.5, 4mm.

Sieve (electrical and mechanical) for cleaning

Sieve (electrical and mechanical) for cleaning

The pressure plate is generally finished in millimeter steel.

Sieve (electrical and mechanical) for cleaning

The holes in the discs are shaped like a regular grater, they are not smooth as I expected.

Sieve (electrical and mechanical) for cleaning

I saw a similar typewriter in a video on YouTube

I don’t know which machine is featured in the video, but the one that I got has a fundamental difference - the pressure plate does not touch the discs. There is a special plastic washer, due to which a small gap of 0.5-1mm remains between the plate and the disc. The handle rotates very softly, without resistance and without grinding metal on metal. Legs at the bottom of the machine with rubber anti-slip tabs, can be folded inward to reduce the space required during storage.

Sieve (electrical and mechanical) for cleaning

The only fly in the ointment so far is that the retainer of the central part is inserted very non-trivially and hemorrhoids, I hope I will adapt myself, or with the help of a crowbar and such and such a mother I will carry out modernization. I haven't tried it yet, I'll write after the combat tests. But so far there are no complaints about the design itself, everything is assembled firmly, nothing dangles, the thickness of the metal is decent.
bc ----
Addition. I tried the sea buckthorn rubbing machine, the impressions are very positive. Everything is easy, fast, the handle turns softly, almost effortlessly. In general, just super. For the sake of interest, I tried to rub the cake after the machine with a spoon through a sieve - not a drop squeezed out.

bc ----, Evgeniy! Moulin means a mill in French. Remember Moulin Rouge? The famous cabaret? And then the same goes in other languages: mill - in English and so on. So it's just the name of the item and not the brand
Ant
Looking forward to your report on applesauce. And then separating the skin with a sieve is very dreary. How do you start making pastille - inform about the automation of the process.

Thank you! And then I'm only friends with English. It turns out that the company is not listed at all.

Ant, most likely, I will do it on Sunday, I will definitely write.
bc ----
Antcomplete disappointment and bummer.Whole baked apples are not rubbed by this unit. More precisely, it frays, but at the same time the hemorrhoids are even more than with a sieve, the skins instantly fall on the grate and completely cover everything up, they must be separated with a spoon and thrown out. In general, it is not suitable for baked apples from the word at all. I watched commercials with industrial rubbing machines that wipe apples, their blades have a completely different shape, so, apparently, household machines like those purchased for apples are fundamentally not adapted. Maybe such a task is too tough for the top-end version of the Paderno typewriter, where the mesh is shaped like a cylinder, like on industrial ones. But the price doesn’t inspire at all, I’m not ready to give 25,000 rubles for this, and there is no guarantee that it will cope with apples, these are just my assumptions. 🔗 Next time you will have to try to bake the apples not whole, but in halves, separate the peel on a sieve, and try the pulp on a typewriter. Maybe it will be possible to speed up the work, otherwise it takes about an hour to rub 3 kg of apples through a sieve.
Ant
Evgeniy, Thank you very much for your reply. I rub it through a sieve. First I tried to put baked apples into a blender, and then wipe, it turned out to wipe a little faster, but not much.
As I already wrote, knocking the sieve on the edge of the pan helps me a lot. And the most important thing is to put a little in a sieve. It is easier to track the accumulation of skins and remove them in a timely manner.
So Belevskaya marshmallow is not only very tasty, but also very laborious ..
My friend peels the apples before baking .. But this is also very dreary.

This option did not occur to me. By the way, you can try. If the apples are already in the form of mashed potatoes and only cleaning remains for the machine, fig knows it, maybe it will work out. The question is, do not the skins themselves break with a blender into such fine dust that it passes through a sieve? And then the meaning of rubbing is simply lost.

I have no problems with the skins on the sieve. First, I remove the skin from the apple with the entire thick layer of baked pulp, put the pulp down on a sieve and iron it with a large spoon on top of 1-2 movements and at the bottom there is the skin, separated from the pulp for discard.

Ezidri apple peeler will save the giant of thought and father mother of Russian democracy. I bought this machine for processing the apple harvest for drying - one of the few examples when advertising really does not lie. Cutting one apple takes about 10 seconds, together with peeling, removing the "stump" and slicing. The only caveat, if you are interested in this machine - take ONLY with a clamp. There are a lot of them with a sucker on the table, this sucker is full of g ...

Does anyone have any experience with the Ariete Passi electric wiper? I saw in the Flea market topic that someone was buying. The price was the same as now for some mechanical ones. But how does it work? In my opinion, they are not in Russia, but you can order

electric wiper Ariete Passi
I looked at how much it costs in our foreign countries. I didn't feel like wiping anything .. 65 euros ...
Oroma
gawala, Galina! And 4800 in the vastness of the Motherland for mechanical wiping, which does not really work, how's that for you? Therefore, I ask for reviews from those who bought and uses electric. If the price is comparable, then maybe at least less effort will be needed. Or are the same problems everywhere: is the net quickly clogged with sandpaper? Now, apart from the usual sieve and attachments for the meat grinder, I have nothing. So I think what to buy: mechanical, electrical or Kenwood attachment. In the summer at the Flea Market, Oleg from Volgograd sold Ariete Passi for 5 thousand. It seemed to me too expensive then, and I was not in Moscow at that time, it was difficult to organize the receipt of this device. Some of our girls later bought it from him. So I hope to hear feedback from the user.

In fairness, let's clarify that she showed herself just perfect on berries. As for this electric one, it has the same "knife" shape, so 90% for the fact that apples will have similar problems.

Girls, and no one knows Chibo's mechanical sieve quality? Now in Enter there is a discount for it, here's a link 🔗

Ant, addition to the report. Today I decided to stir up the marshmallow again, tried to throw baked apples without skins into this shaitan machine. As the Cat Matroskin put it: "Hurray, I EARNED !!!" It wipes right away with a whistle, what is done with your hands in an hour is processed on this machine in 10 minutes.

Dear members of the forum! I need your advice, can someone tell me. I am facing a dilemma which wiping sieve is better to buy. Mechanical or Kenwood attachment AT930. The dilemma is that the mechanical has everything made of stainless steel, while the Kenwood has aluminum! If someone tells me I will be grateful

The price, of course, is stunning

I do not use it, because there is a wiping sieve-attachment for Kenwood

Tatyana, now I cannot find a purely mechanical sieve-wipe cheaper than 2500r This sieve is kind of electromechanical.

Galina, yes I also hope to hear feedback before Monday About this particular sieve

Natalia, for berries it can and will replace, I can not say for sure, I have not tried it, but for tomatoes, I think, will not replace it.
