Stuffed summer pepper (+ video)

Ingredients

Bulgarian pepper 12pcs
Onion 3 pcs
Carrot 3 pcs
A tomato 2 pcs
Soft cheese 150g
Bulgur 1 stack.
Dill, salt, pepper taste
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

Cook bulgur in advance in 2 glasses of water until cooked and completely evaporated.
Pepper to remove tails and seeds.
For the filling, fry 2 finely chopped onions and 2 grated carrots in vegetable oil. Remove from heat.
Add bulgur, finely diced tomato and cheese, chopped dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and fill the peppers.
Fry onions, carrots and tomatoes. Put the peppers on it, pour boiling water over it, salt to taste and simmer under the lid for about an hour.
Serve with sour cream.

Note

Delicious vegetarian stuffed peppers with vegetables, cheese and bulgur. If you don't add cheese to the minced meat, you get a lean or vegan version of the dish. Instead of bulgur, you can take rice or buckwheat.
