Beef casserole with beer

Ingredients:

Beef 800 g
Onions (medium) 2 pcs.
Potatoes 0.5KG
Salt pepper taste
Beer dark 0.33 l
Vegetable oil (olive)
Parsley

Cooking method

  • I took the recipe, at one time, from the magazine "Gastronom", and that, in turn, from the blog 🔗... So many thanks to all of them for the recipe.


  • Cut the meat into 4-5 cm pieces and fry over high heat for about 10 minutes. (I do not add oil at this stage, because there is enough juice from the beef).

  • During this time, while the meat is fried, peel the onion and cut it into rings. Add the onion to the meat, pour a little oil, salt, pepper to taste, cover everything, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices (the thinner the better - during baking, the slices become almost transparent, - very beautiful). Lightly grease the baking dish with oil and spread the bottom with half the potato slices. Put the fried meat and onions on top, and on them the remaining slices, covering the entire top. Salt and pepper the top layer of potatoes and carefully pour out the beer.

  • Cover the form with foil and put in heated to 200about From the oven for about 1 hour. 15 minutes before cooking, remove the foil and brown the potato slices.

  • Before serving, sprinkle the finished casserole with parsley, after cutting it.
