Cooking method

  • Tart BakewellFor the base, all foods must be cold. Mix flour with salt, powder and vanilla. Pour into processor. Add butter cubes. Turn on the processor. Make a crumb. If there is no processor, then grind the flour and butter with your hands.
    Tart BakewellAdd the yolk.
Tart BakewellTurn on the processor. Turn off as soon as the dough gathers. If you cannot collect the dough, then add very cold water.
Tart BakewellDust the table with flour. Lay out the dough. Knead or roll into a circle.
Tart BakewellTransfer to form. Distribute so that a side is formed. Cut off excess. Chop the bottom. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Tart BakewellPreheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the base and bake for 15 minutes. I have a perforated form. I baked without weighting. If the form is without perforation, then make it heavier. Take out the base and allow to cool.
Tart BakewellFor the filling, all products should be at room temperature. Beat butter with powder and salt until fluffy.
Tart BakewellAdd eggs one at a time. Beat after each addition.
Tart BakewellIt turns out an air mass. Add almond flavor.
Tart BakewellAdd almond flour or ground almonds.
Tart BakewellMix gently. The mass is thick, but not dense.
Tart BakewellGrease the base with jam.
Tart BakewellPut the filling inside, sprinkle with petals. Put in the oven (170 degrees) for 40-45 minutes. Allow to cool. Free from the mold, sprinkle with powder.

And I looked at this tart. A classic British pastry shop. More precisely, every self-respecting baking British housewife should bake it at least once. I have not been honored - I am afraid of him. Although, probably in vain? Anji, you have everything so detailed that it seems not scary to bake it.

I also admired your tart mold. Anodized aluminum? Or is there coverage? Show me, if not difficult.

I will definitely try to bake it, especially since marzipan is not needed. Almond flour is

Oh, and I like the pictures very much. I've been a fan of white lately. White porcelain, white textiles, give me something else white and whiter

I do not know? I bought in St. Petersburg. Olya found it at a very good price. The store was closing there. everything was sold out. There were 3 molds of different sizes. I took the smaller one, Olya two, and then I shared it with the woman. There is no coverage. I'll take a picture tomorrow, if I don't forget. A lot of work.
