Ingredients

For 1 loaf, about 12 slices:
White bread flour 375 g
Barley flour
(I have crumbs
125 g
Milk 200 ml
Salt 1 tsp
Sunflower honey 2 tbsp. l.
Butter 25 g
Dry yeast 1 tsp
Egg 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Barley gives bread a sweet, nutty flavor and firmness, but because it is low in gluten, the barley flour must be mixed with white flour for the bread to rise sufficiently.
  • 1. Beat the egg lightly in a jug. Add milk, add water to the 350 ml mark.
  • 2. Put the ingredients in the bread maker in the order shown in the instructions for the bread maker.
  • 3. Place the dish in the bread maker and set up the Basic program.(I baked on "Whole Grain" mode) Turn on the bread maker.
  • 4. Before baking, make shallow diagonal cuts on the surface and repeat the cuts in the opposite direction to form rhombuses.

Baking in HP 2501 Panasonic program 01-main. The crust is denser than that of just wheat or rye-wheat.
I noticed that the cut dries up quickly, but I don't care, because I like a little stale bread. And when you cut a piece, it is very soft inside. We will bake one more time.
Found barley flour garnitsa. I also noticed that bread does not rise as much as wheat bread, but this is understandable. Thanks to the author
