Girls, I don't know where to ask a question, I decided here: I bought a liver in a store, not frozen, beautiful, fried it - inside it became orange, it tasted like it, there is no bitterness. Who faced this? I read it on the internet, there are all the options - from "it's okay until the cow was sick, throw it out", maybe we have someone who knows for sure, maybe someone kept the cows himself?
The department is checked in the store, we sell meat from local farmers, we are regular customers.

Larissa, No, I have never encountered such a thing. I will listen to experts too.

I couldn't eat ... sorry.
I would take it to the store, or return the money, or let them eat with me ...
L
OlgaGera, yes, why should I apologize, we also do not eat, I took a bite to check the bitterness and now I think what to do next. It's a shame, there is absolutely no time now, and now there is no dinner and the time is wasted. Thanks for your opinion!

Larissa, definitely return to the store

Tatyana, thanks for your feedback! Yes, we didn't eat, the seller said that it happens and you can eat it, it seems like it's just "such a liver", the money was returned. But I would like to hear an authoritative opinion whether it is possible to eat or not, and what is wrong with the liver))) judging by the number of posts on the internet, this is a frequent occurrence. Why does it even bother me, I make Uncle Sam's pate in three portions at once, and then you will throw everything into the trash can, this orangeiness manifested itself already in the finished form.

fried - inside it became orange
the liver should not look like this after cooking, the normal color is only brown, no orange shades. we keep bulls, so I know
L
Oktyabrinka, Tatyana, thank you for responding, your opinion is extremely important, we found out after talking with friends that we are not the only ones with "orange liver", no one ate it, but no one really knew why.
