Girls are boys! Recently I had a chance to taste really real homemade (sourdough) rye bread. Own rye - grinded into flour on a nozzle grinder from Kenwood.
With this leaven I tried to bake at home. It turned out delicious, but the bread is different. Made on shop flour. I found out that you can buy rye, now the question is - what to grind? I will look at such a nozzle, but for now I will find it .... but I want to bake bread now .... share, who uses what?
Ilmirushka
kartinka, Lena-Kubanochka has a mill with Ali. Take a look.

Ilmirushka, Admin, thank you, I'll go read it, but no one can say anything about the manual one (in principle, can you grind it at a time?) Is it like our old meat grinder?
Lanna
Marisha, save your pens - order a mill on Ali for 4 thousand. They are cheaper and they seem to have a smaller volume.
I like Lena-Kubanochka. It's definitely worth its money. I also thought about taking the prefix to Zelmer, but leaned towards the Chinese one, because sometimes before that I ground on the Princess coffee grinder, Alishnaya has the same principle.

Before that, it was manual - you can't even compare! But I myself am 1.5 meters with a cap and my hands are weak. Just ask your husband every time. And the difference in price was only 2 times ...
kartinka
Lanna, svetochka, I went to Lena-Kubanochka now - I just can't find this thing,
I don't have Zelmer, I have Innokenty, but I have to look for a mill to him ...
Nathalte
kartinka, Marina, I also took with Ali

The cereals are young on it, then they made spaghetti - beauty. Of course, the cereal attachment is better in terms of adjusting the grind, but it is more expensive, longer on it, and all the flour can be bribed.
Ladies, by the way, where do you get the wheat, please share, since the conversation has started?)

Ladies, by the way, where do you get wheat, please share, since the conversation has started?)
I buy millet and barley groats from the Five and grind them into flour at the Zelmer mill.

As a temporary measure, a coffee grinder can serve as a mill, but not all. I recently dug up my old Bork with a detachable head, it holds almost a glass of cereal and in two batches of 30 seconds it processes buckwheat into quite decent flour. I have another for coffee, and Zelmer's mill is more convenient, so this coffee grinder now grinds sugar into powder for me.
kartinka
About grain, I'm now looking for something that would not buy fodder, as an option - cereals, because different flours are more expensive for anyone. And at work I saw the Keshina mill - it grinds very well from grain. And another question - since thinking about the miller, what else can she besides flour?
NatalyaB
I will also ask here: what are the city chefs grinding rye flour from? Problem: I am not allowed whole grains, so grain from organic and organic stores is not suitable. Need a rough one, I think. And I don't see cereals made from at least minimally refined grain. There is? I see cereals, but they must be steamed?
Alexey 2019
If you have a handy muschinko in your surroundings, then there is a simple adaptation "grinder + bucket".
The grinding is, of course, uneven, but the sieve will help out.

Galina, and what is good about cereal flour?
Marika33
Alexey 2019, can you detail how this can be done? There is a Bulgarian, a bucket, too, and a smart husband.

Marina, can you imagine an electric coffee grinder?
Here is the same thing, only 20 (30? 50?) Times more.
A bucket (do not mess with plastic - better galvanized) is attached to the grinder with metal corners. In the bottom of the bucket there is a hole for the grinder's output shaft. A metal plate with a length slightly less than the diameter of a bucket, 4-5 centimeters wide, 3-4 mm thick, is attached to the grinder's shaft with its standard nuts. Do not sharpen the edges of the plate so that it does not cut, namely breaks the grain. That is why it is called a "hammer" crusher. Do not add a lot of grain at once. Start with 1/4 bucket. Be sure to cover the bucket with a lid when working - otherwise grain will fly into your eyes.
Good luck.
Marika33
Alexey 2019, Thank you so much! I'll read it to my husband. We have a homemade grain crusher, powerful, but we cannot pick up a fine sieve. The melet is large and not suitable for bread. We buy CZ flour, but lately it has been of dubious quality, I feel bitterness in the bread.
kartinka
Alexey 2019, thanks for the options! my husband is still away, but I will definitely read him
The question remains open - what else can you grind, in a mill, except for grain, or so - what can you get besides flour?
Admin, Tanechka, I don't have a zelmer ...

NatalyaB, she herself just got into the flour (bread) business - I brought the sourdough (I don't know what even it is called - homemade completely - with good homemade rye and it's very convenient to use it), I've baked black bread myself three (!!!) times - it turns out and I really liked it, now I don't know what to grab - there is a sea of information, I can’t master it in any way, but, apparently without it, I’ll go nowhere, while I’m delirious like a blind kitten, I’ll grab it, then pinch it, while there’s a mess in my head. You must definitely deal with flour.
Although here the question is generally broader - where and what grain to buy for this mill. I talked with a friend in Germany - so they go to the mill for flour themselves, but we have no mills ...

Shugurovskaya. You can also buy Shugurovskaya wheat on the website, it turns out cheaper there (drive in "Shugurovskaya flour" in the search). And baked bread from it, and pasta, and malt (from rye). Everything works out fine. I sprout and make vitgrass out of it. Everything grows normally, the juice is delicious. Toka wanted to ask experienced users - do they really make quality grain without fertilizers or additives?
NatalyaB
camil72, I asked about rye. And bio or super bio is not very important to me. It is important for me that the grain (whole or crushed) is peeled (?), Without a shell, which, when milled, turns into bran. Here's the bran, whole grain flour is contraindicated for me. I am looking for rye groats, such as wheat (Poltava, bulgur), but rye. Doesn't it happen like that? To cook porridge on occasion. I can't find ...

what kind of millers on Ali, the link took me nowhere
Ilmirushka
Newbie, there is not a mill, there is a real house mill! If I remember correctly, then 1 kg of grain (cereal) is immediately poured into the container ... Or maybe 500 grams, I don't remember exactly. Type the Lena-kubanochka mill in our search engine, and its photos and links should pop up.

But I wonder what are the differences between attachments (kenwood / zelmer) and such, with Ali? The fact that a separate device is better in theory, but what about different products? If not only with grain / cereal flour? (so far I was only thinking about flour, but maybe they are grinding something else at the mill, but I don't know yet? .....
about grain, there is really no time yet, to drive through, to see the grain, for sure you can find it at home in every area, I haven’t found out specifically, I only understood that there is a feed (it’s all infected, as it was written here for people, clean, but there is no time to do it tightly yet)
NatalyaB

I wonder what are the differences between the attachments (Kenwood / Zelmer) and this, with Ali? The fact that a separate device is better in theory, but what about different products?
For comparison and conclusions, it is necessary that someone has all three mills, and this is already drawing on their own production.
As for whether a separate one is better: maybe this one is not, that is, not all. It is important what construction, steel, power.
For example, a separate kenwood meat grinder with the same power may outperform the nozzle. And if you compare any separate braun with a kenwood meat grinder, it is no longer so unambiguous.
--------
The main difference between an al-shny mill and a Zelmer and Kenwood nozzles is that it is a knife mill, and the nozzles are millstones. Millstones (and coffee grinders, by the way) have smoother grinding, and the grain is not crushed, but ground.
kartinka
NatalyaB, I thought so, I need a mill to grind the grain, because I saw this thing in action - the Kenwood grinder mill nozzle grinded - it did it in minutes perfectly! So I wanted it, now it's not easy to find it, and the price tag (we don't have + delivery), I thought, what would I use, I asked a question here and began to look myself. It turned out differently - they write that not all mills take something else, except for grain - for example, seeds from sea buckthorn (many put pressure on oil - my dad did it in his time - oil or not oil - if it’s quite right - he first crushed it, then poured it with vegetable / insisted - it turned out orange and the taste was already different, so he ground it in a coffee grinder then. Then there was a coffee grinder for happiness. True, at that time I didn't need it at all and I remember in fragments, maybe I missed it now ...) so the main question remains - what to buy a mill - more versatile, perhaps, about a kenwood mill - I read that they are reliable, the Germans make them for kenwood. There are pieces (millstones?) That are directly grinded from the right metal, although the question with sea buckthorn, for example, has not yet been clarified, but how grain / cereal - Kenwood takes it very well. If you compare Kenwood and Zelmer mills, Kenwood definitely advises. Now we need to find out who is better - Kenwood or this Chinese mill. Although I really liked Kenwood.
Crown
kartinka, I would advise you to study the instructions of the manufacturer of the attachment mill. Surely it is on the network or users on our forum. I remember that my Zelmerovskaya, according to the instructions, does not take dried peas and like butter peas (poppy seeds), but from experience I know that sugar on the millstones turns to stone and the powder clogs the nozzle, that is, it is not at all suitable for sugar.
NatalyaB
kartinka, oilseeds in the Kenwood nozzle is impossible, that's for sure. Only dry, no nuts, no bones. So, if you need a more versatile, albeit with a not too correct grind, it is better to have something like al-shnoy, with knives.
By the way, why are sea buckthorn bones crushed? Oh, I read it. Dad used to grind it in a meat grinder.

Quote: CroNa
according to the instructions, does not take dried peas and like butter-oil (poppy seeds),
Kenwood too. Peas, chickpeas, whole corn are not allowed, only cereals. It's not written about sugar, but I think so too. Then you will not clean it, but it is not recommended to wash, only with a stiff brush.
kartinka
Crown, I know about sugar, and I will not do powder about the attachments I read to Kenwood, but users only reject sugar for sure, I want a nozzle for flour mostly, but, on occasion, I can grind something else - while it turns out keshina the nozzle in the leaders was thinking about almond flour for macaroon ... although Kenwood writes - you can't have nuts ...
Lanna
I, too, rushed about, rushed to the Zelmerovskoy nozzle. But several years ago she did not buy from us at the time, she regretted the money on maternity leave, and now it is very expensive to order from Poland at our salaries.
She dragged and pulled for time, she even managed to take a hand millstone ... And now I am happy with the Chinese millstone for 4 thousand, it was possible not to suffer in vain, but to take it for a long time and not bathe))) And nuts, and sugar, and viburnum bones - everything that It comes to mind, I even shredded apples for wine during a bountiful harvest, when I was too lazy to get a blender, I also tried peas and chickpeas, but so far I don't need it.
They send them with spare knives, if you can order consumables for a penny on Ali, do not worry about safety ...

It is most convenient for me - for my mother and student-son I make blanks such as pancake flour. Flour + yolks or eggs, sugar, salt and after mixing, pour this crumb onto a baking sheet, for 40-50 minutes in the oven at the very minimum.Cool and grind in a mill immediately with baking powder (soda + lemon) or dry yeast.
In a container so that moisture does not get into and ready.
I also prepared such a mixture for my mommy and buckwheat pancakes (we love very much); and then in winter we rarely go to the village, and the eggs are expensive ... I wrote:
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...507.0
and https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...761.0
I also dried the minced meat and ground it for quick soup-preparations with my old and small ones.
Why am I Marish: their 4t. the mill is definitely worth it, I don't know how much Kesha's personal belongings are now, but I think they are not cheap. And the structure seems to be simple - if something happened, pah-pah, in any workshop, it seems to me, they can fix it. I decided to buy after looking for spare parts for them on Ali and Tao - there is no problem ...
I regret my wasted time "I will save up money and buy a Zelmer mill and I wasted money on the millstones." Yes, it is impossible to accurately determine the degree of grinding - but over time you get used to it, looked at it, opened it, set it up, poured it out, no, you grind it further. I wish I knew about her before ...
If + - is Keshina's attachment, then in order not to produce "extra essences" I would buy it, it would take less space so that all the same ...
Anyway, good luck!
NatalyaB
Quote: Lanna
If + - there is a Keshina nozzle,
Significantly more expensive than al-shnoy. You can, of course, look for discounts or for Avito, but the new one in the official store is almost 10 tons. Not universal, but makes flour (semolina, crushed) from cereals for 5+.

Friends, I have an idle mill attachment for a Zelmer meat grinder. Because of buying myself a gift - a mill from Hawos. Initially, I bought a nozzle in order to understand if there is a difference between flour, ground myself from grain and purchased flour in sourdough bread baking. And after a little exploitation of the nozzle-mill for a meat grinder, I realized that flour obtained from grain and purchased flour are two big differences. If anyone is interested, then write in a personal, I can give up the nozzle-mill. Compared to a stone mill, the difference in performance is noticeable in favor of a mill with a millstone. And on the attachment, you cannot grind hard grains such as corn, chickpeas, peas. And they grind wheat, rye, barley no worse than a mill with stone millstones. Grinding flour for bread at home

Well, now I have definitely decided on the nozzle / flour grinder, now there is little left to do - where to find grain ..... but it is interesting, they say, good, but how is it checked by eye? I have never bought or seen it ... neither in the right one - clean, nor in the infected, in any form ... I can look at funny papers, but, no trust in the documents (which the seller can even provide) therefore, the question is how to buy grain and where ...... I thought before, I will go to the market and buy all business! And here I read a lot, I think that it should be safe. Or drive to some village and ask there ..... Share who buys how

Good day! I climbed into Temka just to read and decided to write about the mill with Ali. Indeed a very good thing, grinds dry products into dust (cereals, roots, bones, sugar, etc.), if necessary. I did not grind the nuts, but they write that it is not desirable because they will turn into paste. Grinding liquid products is not advisable, since it is not tight. Took for sugar - to make powder. Well what can I say, happy like an elephant, the grinding turns out to be very fine. Before that, I had been spinning sugar on a coffee grinder for 7 years, this is, of course, heaven and earth. And sugar quickly puts coffee grinders out of order, since it is forbidden to twist sugar on them. Sugar is generally a bad thing for electrical appliances. Well, what else can I add about the mill with Ali, it's good, though it works sooooo loud, like a gas mower. And I will also say that after a while, be sure to unwind and lubricate the mechanism with machine oil. It is better to ask the men, it is hard to unscrew the upper screw, although I did it and disassembled the whole mill to the screws. I am glad if my information will be useful to someone.
kartinka
Nadyushka85, Hope is certainly helpful! As I bought a bread maker, I thought, everything is with bread, and here .... I read everything, but so much information on bread is needed, and then one thing, then another, autumn, preparations take a lot of time. And when real users write, it's great! Moreover (what to say ... the instructions are good, but many retreat and write about their experience, it's also good, although, probably, it is wrong ... since the manufacturer does not allow something), but sometimes you need to do something, and you think - the unit will withstand once or twice, if carefully or completely impossible ...
And I started up, because the bread turned out to be sea, now I bake with sourdough, which I was treated, for the third time it turns out (and the leaven is from real homemade, from my own flour, how delicious it is! Mine turns out, but the taste is not the same as I tried ....) + step left-right - and I swim, therefore - learn and learn from experienced bakers. It seems to be clearly written, but sometimes it is necessary to re-read it: lol: several times, that would fit
And in bread that the main thing is grain ... so I decided that it was necessary to probe the grain, Lord, what I have been doing all my life ... I don’t know anything ... well, who has a mill somewhere, we bought flour and went home , and our head does not hurt, we also have different flours sold in supermarkets, the price tag is stunned for a small pack and not the fact that good flour ... so I was puzzled on my head until I have no result in grain - they look at me like crazy and they cannot understand that I am looking for grain for my own bread so far all that I have found (farm and master's) fodder, I'm afraid to take ..... (via the Internet, too, there is still no way out, really in the region you can't buy grain for bread, well this cannot be .....) so while the search continues - and grain and information on everything, it is connected with this, I would be grateful if anyone would share their experience.
That's what it means to treat yourself to a real homemade bread, even if you go and this rye / wheat itself.
Ps: As for the nozzles / mill and grain - we each have our own thoughts and capabilities - probably, not only me, different information will be useful. As soon as something becomes clear to me with the purchase of grain and the mill itself, I will definitely write the result.

Lanna, Svetochka, with Avito and the market I just started - I thought I would go to the market and buy - all the business ... it turned out that everything is not quite right ...
