Ingredients

sour cream 250 grams
eggs c-0 2 pieces
soft butter 50 grams
premium wheat flour 520-550 grams
sugar 140 gram
salt pinch
baking powder 1 teaspoon
soda 1/2 teaspoon
fresh lemon zest 1 teaspoon
lemon juice 2-3 tablespoons
grease milk
melted butter for lubrication optional

Cooking method

  • Pour soda into sour cream, stir, leave for 10 minutes.
  • Add eggs, salt, sugar, zest and juice, stir.
  • Add soft butter, stir.
  • Add flour and baking powder little by little, until a soft dough is obtained.
  • The dough is sticky, but I advise you not to clog it with flour.
  • Grease hands with vegetable oil.
  • Cut the dough into koloboks, about the same weight.
  • Roll each bun in flour and flatten by hand into a flat cake, 1-1.5 cm thick.
  • Put on a baking sheet, brush with milk.
  • Prick with a fork.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  • Grease hot cakes with oil if desired.
  • Serve with milk or tea.
