Porridge of four types of cereals with mushrooms in a multicooker Steba DD2

Ingredients

buckwheat 0.5 ms
pearl barley 0.5 ms
millet (or bulgur) 0.5 ms
rice 0.5 ms
onion (large) 1 PC
carrots (medium) 1 PC
Champignon 250 g
water ~ 4-5 ms
salt, spices taste

Cooking method

  • Set the frying program. When, after the signal, pour vegetable oil into the pan. Add chopped onions, fry them a little, then add carrots and chopped mushrooms grated on a coarse grater. Fry vegetables for about 7-8 minutes, season with salt and add your favorite spices. Place the vegetables from the mv bowl on a plate.
  • Add a little oil to the bottom of the mv bowl, and we will lay out the washed cereals, alternating them with vegetables. First, lay out the buckwheat, spreading it over the bottom in an even layer. On top, we also lay out some of the fried vegetables in an even layer. Then a layer of pearl barley, vegetables, then millet and the remaining vegetables, spread the rice with the top layer. Fill everything with salted water so that it only slightly covers the contents.
  • We turn on the program Porridge, time 7 minutes, pressure 0.7. After the end of the program, wait until the valve has dropped and the mv can be opened.

Galina, and barley should not be pre-soaked?
Gala
Galina, you do not need to pre-soak the pearl barley. If you are not sure about cereals (sometimes cheap cereals are of very poor quality, I don't buy such), you can scald with boiling water and leave to stand under the lid for a while.

I always believed that barley should be cooked for a long time. We don’t eat it somehow.
Gala
Barley can be replaced with other cereals or its amount can be reduced, this is not important.

Frying in a frying pan (I like to fry in a large frying pan, so that everything "walks" freely there). Then Orson 5015, program "Porridge", pressure 2, 30 minutes. Purrfect!
I'm taking it away for good. Thank you!
I apologize that without a photo - in the evening it was late in time, and late in the afternoon according to the contents of the casseroles
Gala
Irina, thanks for the tip! It's always nice if the recipe suits your taste
