Ingredients

For cutlets:
Any mince, I have pork + beef 500 gr.
Onion 1 PC.
White dry bread 1 slice
Raw egg 1 PC.
Salt, ground pepper, paprika, fresh parsley taste
Caraway seeds, sumac, dry mint (you do not need to add) 1/4 tsp each.
Water 50-100 ml.
Vegetables:
Potatoes, tomato, large eggplant 2 pcs.
Bell pepper 1 PC.
Ketchup or tomato paste 200 ml. / 2 tbsp. l.
Water 300 ml.
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • Fry until almost cooked on both sides.

  • Place on a paper towel.

  • Eggplants can be fried, I have not fried.

  • Fill the voids with pieces of the remaining vegetables and chopped bell peppers, I have large pieces of pepper and eggplant.
  • Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

  • After 15 minutes, pour the sauce over the vegetables and leave in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
  • Since my eggplants were raw, I stood for ~ 30 minutes under the foil. Everything was baked beautifully.

Note

This dish can be served with potatoes, rice, beans, lentils, sprinkled with additional herbs, and mine is eaten just like that, and they start to eat it even at the cutlet stage

On the Turkish culinary sites on the google request "Firinda pаtates kofte" you will not see much. Or some cutlets are stupidly baked on some potato rounds with almost no sauce, or alternating meatballs and various vegetables, neatly laid out in a circle or in rows, like in a Disney ratatouille, and poured almost up to the throat with sauce ... In general, as I understand it, among the Turks recipes for this kyufta like we have borscht - as many housewives, as many recipes ... I believe that your kyufta is no worse than that of the Turks!
