Important! If the bread maker doesn't seem to be working:
The start button turns on and the time on the display starts to decrease, but the dough is not kneaded. This is normal, because before the dough is kneaded, the heating element starts to work, which turns on and off. And only after a while (10-20 minutes) the blades begin to move, kneading the dough.

For the ORION-205 model, the additional functions must include
-the ability to create YOUR OWN baking program, which is stored in memory, but which can be changed countless times!

In my opinion, not ALL bread makers have this function.
I personally use it a lot.

My year is Orion-206. Satisfied with a solid three with a plus, but so to speak for lack of better.
There are drawbacks.
1. Substantial - Weak coating on the bucket, although I only use a silicone mixing paddle. I use it once every 2-3 days, that is, constantly, and on the vertical protrusions inside the bucket already from two sides by about half a centimeter - Teflon has rubbed off to metal. Already in those places the pastries stick. We'll have to change the bucket, but I won't know where to take it.
2. And one more garbage, which was discovered after a week of use: the start button did not work well, it sank (that is, it does not always bounce back when pressed).
I took it to the SC, assured that they would replace the button (and I don’t be a fool, before that I marked this button with a marker on the side). Naturally, no one changed it, they squeezed something and returned it a week later. Everything is clear with the center, the second time I do not go on a rake, only I wasted on delivery and lost time. I got used to it myself, I have to press several times until it rebounds. I am so toil. The second time, I would not have bought it. Now a friend bought one, I'll see if it's just me that "lucky".

Serious flaws in your bread maker. How long have you been using it?
I already feel anxious in my soul, I think that all the Orions are probably concocted using the same technology and are collected in one garage ...
Inusya
Yes, that's just a year. I think it's somehow not cheap to throw out 550 UAH in a year use (I do not think that it will last long)
Moreover, I am a comrade, with a neat technique. I do not save on silicone spatulas, or wash it at random. It's a shame, damn it. Honestly, I'm not even eager to change the bucket. It will last as long as possible, but I will look for something more impressive. Let it be more expensive, but now I will at least know what requirements to impose on the characteristics of the stoves.
And she has a covering weak, and very... In addition to the bucket, even with the most accurate removal of the mixers from the bread, there are "abrasions" on the Teflon top of the mixers, from that metal hook, no matter how hard you try.
For some reason, it is generally accepted in our country that the more programs and bells and whistles, the better. I give a tooth, a rare user constantly works with the Fast or Superfast bread program (I generally don’t know who they were invented for), or jam, or a cake (with such active and long kneading, no shortbread dough will stand).
The most used programs are Basic, Bran, French, Baking and Dough.
I even used the program Sandwich twice, then it somehow did not take root with me. But it's a pity that there is no Rye regime.
So it turns out from 10 - half of the progs, in general, are not needed.
Yes, even about her "beeping" is a separate topic. When the signal for filling up the ingredients, 12 signals are heard (they were accurately installed by a deaf aborigine since childhood), so once and for all stop using the delay program, especially at night. I could not fall asleep at half past three in the morning after her incessant beeping. And the bread is overwhelmed and the alarm clock is not needed ...
Although, of course, it is convenient that:
1. large loaf shape, that is, there is a choice in a large direction.
2. two mixers, this is undoubtedly a plus, mixes evenly.
3. relatively low price, it is not so offensive to throw it away.

therefore my Conclusion: the stove is weak, especially the coating, but for those who cannot afford an expensive one or rarely bake, at a relatively low price, it will do without options.
Taia
And there are also many claims to the models of bread machines of more famous brands. The danger of buying Orion is that it is a completely unknown and new brand. How durable the bread maker is is unknown. Hopefully I'm lucky.
Inusya
...In any case, I think you should try anyway! Maybe I only have this with a button, but of course, when mixing, definitely use only silicone paddles, no options!
I think, given previous experience, you can exist with her. Just be careful!

I have ORION-206. Works since November 2009. I baked 131 loaves. There are no complaints about the work of the bread maker and the quality of baked goods. We need quality ingredients (and this is a big
now the problem).
The coating of the bucket and paddles is reliable. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to remove bread from the mold.
Flaw in the designers. It is necessary to make the bucket and the drive shaft with a slight reverse slope. And the grooves near the shafts are not clear why, they are filled with dough and prevent the bread from being taken out.
I solved this problem for myself. Made a rubber washer according to the dimensions of the recess and
I put it on the drive shaft under the blade. Eating bread has become easier.

I wonder if the manufacturers are reading our messages? Maybe the administration of the forum informs anyone about the shortcomings in household
technique? Can I get an answer to my questions?

I am amazed at you. You even have an accurate record of the baked bread. I have no problems with removing bread in my model. One drawback is that the spatula began to remain in the bread, a play quickly appeared between the shaft and the spatula. Now I fix the scapula with a toothpick and that's it.
balik
For Vusya. The kneading paddles can remain as in bread when removing the bread,
and on the shaft. They are removed from the bread with a hook, and from the shaft after soaking. It is agreed
instructions. Do not pay attention to the backlash, this is normal. Your shoulder blade is not
scrolls on the axis. Do not worry.
vusya
In my model of the Orion, there is no hook for removing the scapula from the loaf. And the constant picking out annoys me and therefore it is easier for me to fix the blade on the shaft with a toothpick.
Rina
Girls, please give feedback on the 27th model (after at least three months of use!).
Inusya
And I again with my 206th.
She finally broke down with me, after working for 1 year and 3 months.
The first time after a month of work, I wore it in the service room with the start button jammed, held it for a week, returned it, "repaired with a show-off." As it jammed, it remained, well, I gradually got used to it somehow, from the fifth time it still turned on.
And now it buzzed during the kneading and you could hear something burst inside, by the sound, something rotated, and the shoulder blades were in place. This time I decided not to contact this office. My husband and I decided to disassemble it to the insides, see, - what is there ... And there for some reason such guides on which the pulley is worn unbent (which turns the axles for the blades), and so the pulley came off them. We decided not to wear it, once we jumped off, it will repeat itself.
Honestly, I looked inside, grabbed my head, why such money?
I think that the cost of the entire unit is three and a half kopecks, including packaging. Solid plastic.
We decided to do so - to buy the same, and leave this one for spare parts during self-repair, without contacting these pontoon centers. And so they did. Now there is a stock.
PS, It's funny, but the fact is that the Start button in this stove is also pressed a little strangely. Rather, it is pressed well, but bounces back with a delay, although I press it without any effort. Just like the previous one. Probably they have such a chronic condition!
Let's see how long it will live.

Hello! I have x \ Mulinex stove for three years soon. What can I say ... When kneading, it rumbles like a cart (not for me alone, on the forum many people complain about this feature of Mulek). The bucket leaked after six months of intensive use. Spatula sticks to bread (disgusting coating). And I bought a new one - everything is the same. The second bucket is jammed. But, rather, it was my fault. After each baking, you need to pour hot water into the bucket, and I did it every other time. But if I changed the first bucket under warranty, then I had to buy it. And the price ... 330 hryvnia True, there are no complaints about electronics.
Why am I all this: a brand is good. but price and quality are somehow parallel. In general, I bought my daughter Orion 27 today (she asked not for an expensive one). I liked that the stove is compact, on the top panel there is all the information for the hostess (in Moulinex it is exactly like that). True, it buzzes somehow ... Now I'm baking a proven white bread. Interesting
The daughter does not know about the purchase yet
How is oriana doing? Have you chosen a recipe?

We make a bun with a bread maker, so everything is fine for now, we bake ourselves, "lose weight", though I don't eat all this, I absolutely do not like pastries, and all of mine are just wildly delighted!
Genek
And I was lucky!
My wife and I wanted a bread maker, but in supermarkets they are normal from 1000 UAH (120 USD). We decided to buy a used one. I did not find a used one from any supplier, I went to a commission shop. There was a brand new English Cookworks Signature. Well, it was, then I decided to take it. 360 UAH (35 USD). Stainless steel! New! Made in Europe for Europeans, not in China for Ukrainians! Instruction (with normal recipes, incidentally). But the instruction was written in English, my wife asked to translate ...
A few weeks later I went to Foxtrot and - oh, what is it! my machine is worth it! Orion is called! Y-yes, Orion OBM-204, the first typewriter of this topic. And it costs something inexpensive, something 560 or 650 UAH, in a word, twice as expensive as my English. You can guess who got into who. Well, I was delighted, of course! Because if there is Orion, then there is an instruction to it.
I downloaded the instruction from the Internet, it is informative. Now lies somewhere.
The wife was pleased with the instructions. But I still stayed with us as a baker - my half is not on friendly terms with technology. Why should she - her half is good friends, which buttons she needs to press. And I'm not complaining about my new duty!
But I still don't use recipes from Orion's instruction, they haven't attracted me yet. Compared to those English, baby talk.
Teillet
I "chased" Orion for a whole week. I tried it on all programs (except for jam: I think that cooking jam in an oven is a mockery of the bucket's coating). What can I say: EXCELLENT stove. I am very glad that the low price did not affect the quality. Yes, and the manufacturer is Hungary. And then the Chinese have already got a vacuum cleaner, a blender, and an iron from my friend of this company. She is very pleased. And how my daughter was delighted with my purchase! I didn’t expect her to bake bread with SUCH pleasure! : yahoo: So guys who are looking for a choice of x \ stove - buy Orionchik!

Now the end of my bread maker has come. The bucket has been leaking since the fall, and recently the shaft on which the spatula was put on fell out of the bucket. I handed it over to the service center for repair, I was offered to completely replace the bread machine. Although, logically, only the bucket could be replaced. By the way, the date of purchase of the bread maker is 18.03.2011.
So bad without a bread maker !!! I can't wait for this saga to end.

And what, under warranty, they completely change the stove? Because of the bucket? Hopefully free?

If not, this is not the end, these are temporary difficulties. You shouldn't worry about them and save $ 150 for a Mercedes if a Zhigul's wheel bolt has been unscrewed.
As far as I can see, this thing is attached to rivets ... There are no acquaintances with a rivet gun? Car mechanics, for example? Yes, there you can even tighten the screws with a conical head. And they would have helped with sealing - I think it is quite possible to do so that the chemicals cannot get into the bread.
The main thing is to set a task and talk about working conditions. Namely: tightness and safety are important; temperature up to 300 ° C.
The price of the issue would be literally a couple of dollars.
"And the fight continues again."

My love story with Orion is over. The service center gave an act and offered to replace a new furnace. Naturally, I didn’t refuse. But ... I took a completely different model of the stove (only added the difference in price!). I hope you have better luck with your new stove.

It's good that everything was successfully resolved. Judging by the information you became the owner of Panasonic, the difference was not small. Recently, I also began to breathe towards new models after they fell in price. But my Orion serves faithfully and let it be so. My hard worker plows every other day, then bread, then I knead the dough into buns, and so I’m so lazy with my HP that I melt the margarine in it on baking
Taia
Unfortunately I was probably out of luck. And I did not bake often at all, I treated her very carefully and now ...
To my surprise, somehow the entire repair-exchange went quickly and smoothly, I was preparing for war, to be honest.
But to change again to the same model somehow my soul did not lie at all. Of course, the "toad" crushed me very much at a surcharge, but the range of stoves is not great, so I stopped at Panasonic.

I went to read about Delphi ... And I read so many good things about this Orion that I did not dig further.

I read about Delphi. In principle, it is also an option, and even for less money. But the point is not even in money, but in the fact that there are no obvious problems with the operation, because it is unlikely that there will be someone who will deeply delve into and read in the internet, what and how. If for myself, I would not be very fooled, but for relatives something is needed so that they abandon everything and get bread, this is how they imagine it all to themselves.

Now I am tormented - Orion or Delphi. E-mail is not enough for me. to suffer with the book. I went to other topics to doubt.

We gave my mother Orion-27 in December 2011, she is very happy with it, and in February she and I gave the same bread makers to my sister, I bake bread almost every day, I tried classic white, French, sweet with raisins, there are no problems, I learn from members of the forum to form the correct bun, but she bakes and kneads perfectly. My friend Orion has been with me for 3 years already, when I chose my mother - she spoke very positively.Particularly captivating is the low cost of the Orion-27 bread machine, and in terms of functionality it is the same as the expensive models.

Vanya28, I'm here with my Orion too. Yes, I can give a grudge that for some reason they have - at once no mixing is provided in any prog !!! (I have it already the second in a row, the first one broke down after a year and a half and is now in spare parts). In all modes, warming up from 20 minutes on the Main to 40 minutes on the Otrubny. I myself was surprised, I thought that it should be so, and in all so. But no. So I’m hitching up now ... Probably when this one shoots up, I’ll look for another model. It is so addicting. Especially when you need dumplings. Stop like a fool and wait for it to turn on ...
If the instruction had a detailed transcript, I might not have taken it, but ... they learn from mistakes. And my husband insisted on taking the second one, because at the price, it's not a pity, and now there are spare parts (from the first stove) just in case ...

I choose between OBM-27G, OBM-204 and OBM-206. The price is about the same as the reviews. On the technical side, there are no fundamental differences. Which model would you recommend to stay on?
