Ingredients

  • I cooked this dish in the oven, in a cauldron over an open fire, in a cast iron on a gas stove, but the most delicious, fragrant, beautiful and healthy option is in my old Minutka pressure cooker - the minimum of your efforts, time and the maximum of your and those of others' emotions.
  • Let's start blessing. Lamb should be taken not fat, preferably the neck or front leg. Today I have a neck, cut into pieces of 2.5-3 cm. Wash the meat and dry it with a paper towel.
  • Cut the onion into half rings, eggplant and pepper into 4 pieces and 2 cm across, crush the garlic and chop finely.
  • Put 1/3 of the vegetables on the bottom of the pressure cooker, then the meat and the rest of the vegetables and spices, salt, pepper and tomatoes on top.
  • Close the pressure cooker, turn on the maximum heating and after the signal (hissing from the valve) we time it out for 45-50 minutes, when the time has passed, turn off the heating and do not open it for an hour.
  • After you open the lid, you may need to fix it for salt. The smell emanating from the saucepan will gather your household, so it's best to prepare everything for serving.
  • You can serve it with any side dish, or you can simply serve it with pita bread, ciabatta or other favorite bread and herbs. Bon Appetit! Angel to you at your meal.
