Ingredients

sour cream 250 grams
eggs s-1 4 pieces
sugar 200 grams
odorless vegetable oil 50 ml
salt pinch
premium wheat flour 300 grams
baking powder 1 rounded teaspoon
vanillin 1 sachet
apples 2-3 pieces
round or square shape 25 cm better silicone

Cooking method

  • Let's prepare the apples first.
  • Cut them in half, remove the core and cut them into thin slices.
  • It can be heat treated in two ways.
  • 1. If you have a microwave, put it in parts on a plate in one layer and heat it up at 700 W for 1.5 - 2 minutes.
  • 2. If there is no micron, pour water into a saucepan, add a pinch of citric acid, put apple slices and bring to a boil on the stove. Drain immediately into a colander and rinse under running cold water.
  • For the dough, beat the sugar and eggs a little. We spread all the sour cream, butter and mix well. Then gradually pour in the flour with salt, vanilla and baking powder.
  • The dough turns out like thick sour cream.
  • We pour it into the mold.
  • We make roses from apple slices. For this, we roll up the first slice with a tube. Then we begin to wrap the tube in a circle in slices with a slight overlap.
  • Make the roses large, otherwise the small ones will simply drown when the dough rises.
  • We immerse the roses in the dough. It is not necessary to deepen.
  • Sour cream pie with apple roses
  • We put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50 - 55 minutes. We check the readiness with a stick. About 15 minutes before readiness, you can sprinkle the roses with a pinch of sugar.
  • We take out the cake. Cool down in shape. Sprinkle the cooled cake with powdered sugar if desired.
