Mango chutney

Ingredients

Mango 1 PC.
Apple 1 PC.
Pear 1 PC.
Lime 1 PC.
Orange 1 PC.
Onion 1 PC.
Garlic 3-4 teeth
Dry white wine 100 ml
Sugar 100 g
Fresh ginger 3 cm piece
Cayenne pepper 1 tsp
Sweet paprika 1 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Olive oil 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Peel the mango, apple, pear and cut into small cubes. Lime and orange, without peeling, cut into small cubes and mix with mango, apple and pear. Grate ginger there on a medium grater.
  • Chop the onion very finely and passivate on OM until soft, add crushed garlic. Fry a little more. Add fruit mixture and all seasonings. Pour in wine. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes. I did it on Baking and Stewing in a slow cooker, it was very suitable for this business.

A very long time ago, a friend of ours brought mango-chutney from India - it was divinely delicious, not at all comparable to the current canned product.

I like it. For my taste, I managed to achieve the desired effect. Spicy-sour-sweet: 0) I want to eat with spoons, but knocks out a tear.
