Disposal of bell pepper cores

Ingredients

Bell peppers (sweet) unlimited

Cooking method

  • Once again, while preparing stuffed peppers and looking at a large number of cores and seeds, I was concerned about how to use them more efficiently. Usually I add a couple or two when cooking other dishes - in soups, stews, etc., and then discard. But now there were so many of them, and most importantly - so many healthy seeds (no less than a glass), that the first thought was to make vegan milk out of them - from which only I did not make it!
  • Disposal of bell pepper cores
  • But then I decided - and I will grind all these, excuse me, "butts", I will freeze in portions and will also add to the dishes, but without throwing anything away! And so she did! The cores, together with the seeds, are crushed in a blender (first checked on a small amount)
  • Disposal of bell pepper cores
  • The milled puree is poured into any suitable molds, frozen, and now the peppers are used without waste, if you do not take into account the cut off dried stalks!

Brilliant. This is how much good was wasted ...
Larochka, thanks!

Larissa! I'm crazy about your invention! ... Now I doubt it, but I EXACTLY threw out the tails

... that's cool! What for? (from)

And I dry them (in the dryer when there are a lot), and then grind them in the grinder.

I likewise felt sorry for throwing away the apple seed pods when making lazy sugarless jam in the oven. I also threw this pile into the filter of the blender soup cooker ... and what a cupcake it turned out!

dopleta, Larissa, when I was still a girl, I subtracted how much usefulness is contained in seeds and stalks. And I'm preparing a vitamin spice from them. My family generally goes to soups with a bang! Here is my recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=469409.0

Pepper cores, along with seeds + tomato leftovers (cake from a screw juicer or pomace when I cook tomatoes for the dryer and squeeze excess juice and pulp out of them with my hands) or whole tomatoes + salt or sugar = into a chopper or stationary blender (yes, any bowl with knives, depending on the amount of chopped) = I interrupt in mashed potatoes and freeze in portions = in soup, in stewing, in sauces. I freeze either in containers of different sizes or in freezer bags. Salt or sugar may not be added, but they draw out more flavor from pepper and tomato.
I have been doing this for a very long time, it is really a pity to throw away such good

Tomatoes are optional, if they are available at the moment, and it is good without them.

I have been doing this for a long time, only the seeds are dried separately - then I grind them into powder and add them to the Himalayan salt, and the seeds dry during the summer on the window, I cook the peppers almost every day, and add the seeds to the plate. I blender the rest of the pulp and freeze it in trays from under the sweets and pour it into one bag in the freezer. I do the same with sprigs of dill and celery parsley - I chopped them to gruel and froze them. Winter eats everything up!

dopleta, Larissa, it's a pity that I read the recipe late, the pepper is almost over, but next year I will definitely prepare the cores with seeds
dopleta
That's good! Better late than never✌!

Yes, it's a shame !!! Well, at least a month earlier !!! In the canakhi, the pepper is necessarily cut with seeds (the Georgian taught us). This aroma turns out to be extraordinary. I also thought about whether to grind the seeds or what? Thanks for the recipe !!

dopleta, Larochka is really Brilliant!

Thank you, Larisa! Brilliant. I also dry the apple cores in the dryer and add them to the compote. I didn't notice much difference in taste.

Oh, what's so brilliant, girls? But thanks for the ratings, it's nice!
