Loose rice in the microwave

Ingredients

long grain rice 150 ml.
water 270 ml.
salt taste

Cooking method

  • Rice is thoroughly washed to clear water, filled with water (do not salt!) And sent to the microwave. We cook in a double boiler (I came with the stove) at 800W for 7 minutes, another 10 minutes at 450W. On a signal (if necessary) add rice and leave it on the "Exposure" program or just in the microwave for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Bon Appetit!

The dish is designed for

3-4 servings

Time for preparing:

20 minutes

Valya, thank you so much for the recipe! For a long time I have been looking for proven norms of bookmarking and time for cooking rice in the microwave for an older student.

Irish, at one time I only cooked porridge in a micron, so there are all layouts for any cereal. Hope it will be convenient for my son to cook

I was just going to cook buckwheat or millet tomorrow, then I will measure the proportions and put it out, otherwise I have been boiling everything by eye for a long time

"by eye", especially for a guy, a lump can turn out from rice. But buckwheat will simply be either crumbly or smudged. Well you know yourself

fill with water (do not salt!) and send to the microwave. Cook in a double boiler
so to cook in water or steam?
V-tina
kolobashka, in water, but a saucepan, which is for micra. According to my instructions, it is called a double boiler, but in fact it is an ordinary plastic saucepan, it also comes out in a glass one.
