Chocolate tarts with fresh strawberries and salt flakes

Ingredients

Dough: Butter softened 100 g
Sugar 40 g
Flour 150 g
Cocoa 40 g
Water on demand 1-2 tbsp. l.
FILLING: Cream 10-20% 380 ml
Chocolate (50-70% cocoa) 300 g
Eggs 3 pcs.
Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
FOR SERVING: Fresh strawberries 150 g
Coarse sea salt A couple of pinches

Cooking method

  • Chocolate tarts with fresh strawberries and salt flakesWhisk the softened butter in a small bowl with sugar.
  • Chocolate tarts with fresh strawberries and salt flakesSift the flour with cocoa powder and baking powder and combine with the oil mixture.

An avaricious salty man's tear rolled down from the beautiful face of the Slovene.So we added a little salt on top of our cake and replaced milk chocolate with black, in order to always remember that in real life our sweet dreams and bright hopes do not always come true. And the inconsolable prince on the rocky coast of the city of Piran sculpted a lonely figure of a beautiful girl in memory of his unrequited love.

After all, the whitest sea salt, which was mined on the Adriatic coast for several centuries (the Sečovlevsky saltworks are more than 700 years old), is full of minerals and trace elements and goes on sale in the form of unrefined salt.
Today, Piran's salt works are famous - PIRANSKE SOLINE, which managed to preserve the traditional process of manual extraction of rare natural absolutely white salt. It is not for nothing that many of the world's restaurateurs and famous chefs, even from faraway Japan, come to Piran for salt to create their fabulous dishes. In addition, the extracted salt is the basis for the manufacture of unique cosmetics, healthy salted chocolate and other goods.
