Ingredients

Cold option for 1 serving:
Vodka (White Rum) 50 ml
Orange juice 100 ml
Sea buckthorn jam 10 g (2 cu. L.)
Ginger root 5 g (1 slice)
Crushed ice 200 g
Orange slice and rosemary sprig for decoration
Hot option for 1 serving:
Cognac (Dark Rum) 40 ml
Orange juice 50 ml
Lemon juice 10 ml
Sea buckthorn jam 20 gr (4 bars. L.)
Ginger root juice 15 ml
Hot water
Orange slice and rosemary sprig for decoration

Cooking method

  • Cold option:
  • Put 1 slice of ginger, sea buckthorn jam into a highball and crush with a mudler.
  • Fill the highball with crushed ice.
  • Pour in vodka (or white rum).
  • Add orange juice and stir gently with a cocktail spoon.
  • Decorate with a wedge of orange and a sprig of rosemary.

  • Hot option:
  • Put sea buckthorn jam in the highball.
  • Pour in lemon juice, ginger juice, orange juice and cognac (dark rum).
  • Top up with hot water and stir gently with a cocktail spoon.
  • Decorate with a sprig of rosemary and an orange slice.

Note

The Trans-Siberian Railway, or simply "Transsib", is not just a road connecting western and eastern Russia. It is also the longest railway track, which was built in a quarter of a century (from 1891 to 1916). Its total length is 10 thousand kilometers. The road connects Moscow and Vladivostok. You will have to travel by train for almost 10 days. During this time, you will see the whole country. To make the spectacle even more colorful, it is recommended to drink a cocktail based on vodka, orange juice, orange and ginger root.
