Ingredients

Pearl barley (pre-soaked overnight) 1 m. St
Mushrooms (I have frozen stumps) 150-200g
Cream 33% 50-70ml
Sour cream (homemade from 10% cream) 100g
Onion 1 PC
Boiling water 2 m. St.
Salt, pepper to taste

Cooking method

  • I want to treat you to my favorite porridge with mushrooms, sour cream and cream.

  • I soak the barley beforehand, as a rule for the night or at least an hour or two. And I always cook barley, pouring boiling water over it.
  • I cook barley more often in a slow lye, it turns out stewed and I really like milk barley in a slow lye or in a pressure cooker on Stew for at least 4-6 hours, it's sooo tasty, such a porridge is obtained, you just eat your mind.
  • First, fry and stew the mushrooms and onions, then add the pearl barley, cream, sour cream, salt, pepper, mix everything, pour boiling water and leave to cook for 2 hours.
