Cooking method

  • I really like cooking pots in the airfryer, it turns out very simple and tasty!
  • Put pork chopped into small pieces on the bottom of the pots, on top - coarsely chopped potatoes, half-rings onions, bell peppers, champignons, a little tomato paste (for 0.6 l a pot of 1 teaspoon of pasta). Salt, spices to taste. Pour boiling water over, trying to wash off the pasta and salt / pepper.
  • I put the products not to the very top, but two fingers below. I pour boiling water so that not completely cover the vegetables, but so that they look out a little. If put to the top, then during the cooking process it can spill out, and the pot and the bottom of the AG can get dirty.
  • I cover it with a lid, put it in the airfryer on the lower grill, set the time for 50 minutes, the temperature is 265 * C, the blowing speed is maximum. I do not warm up in advance, I put it in a cold AG.
  • At the end of cooking (5 minutes before cooking), you can remove the lids of the pots, sprinkle with grated cheese and leave uncovered so that the cheese melts and slightly browns. But you can do without cheese!
  • In the photo - pots with exactly the same content as I described in the recipe. But you can vary according to your desire and the availability of products!
  • You can replace pork with chicken or fish. Vegetables in any combination - remove the mushrooms, put pickles or cabbage, add carrots, blue ones, zucchini ...
  • Alternatively, you can use a diced tomato instead of tomato paste. Or not that. pasta, and a spoonful of sour cream or mayonnaise. Or do not add anything - there will be vegetables / meat in a transparent broth.
  • I haven’t tried to cook with beef and lamb, I can’t say anything about this - maybe I will have to cook longer?
  • Before serving, it would be good to sprinkle with herbs and grated garlic, then generally WOW !!!
  • If in AG the speed does not change, as in mine, we cook on the one that is. Just maybe it will be necessary to add a little time? Try to set it on 50 minutes and check readiness, maybe this time will be enough.
  • Bon Appetit!

Time for preparing:

I have long dreamed of buying a Hotter. Can I cook in ceramic pots? How much fits?
The recipe is wonderful!

Yes, it turns out very tasty pots! My hotter holds 3 big-bellied pots of 0.6 l. But maybe if you take not pot-bellied, but with vertical walls, then you can fit more. Or take one, but 3-4-5 liters. Now these are also on sale

I've been cooking in Hotter since 2005. 5 pots are placed each 0.5 l. The instructions say that it is faster to cook food in several small pots than in one large one. Each one can make pots with different spices. True, I cook at 235 degrees and high speed, and when a tasty smell appears (this means the liquid in the pots has boiled), then I reduce the temperature by one division every 20 minutes and finish at 180 degrees and medium speed. This results in a medium or quiet boiling of the liquid and nothing escapes. Instead of pot lids, I use metal rolling lids (without rubber bands) and cook on the middle wire rack - it boils faster this way.

Yes, I also like that you can put different spices in different pots to suit the taste of different family members! Or even different ingredients! For example, one pot of tomato paste and the other of sour cream! One is vegetarian, the other is with lean chicken, the third is with fatty pork! You will please everyone at once!
I also cooked various soups in the usual 0.5 l glass jars - in one pea soup, in the other - pickle, in the third kharcho! Who wants what!

I also like to cook in pot-shaped glass jars. I cook on a medium wire rack. First I put 235 degrees. and the maximum speed, and after boiling I reduce it to 180 degrees. and average speed (nothing runs away on it). I use tin covers for rolling without rubber bands. I like to cook porridge or soup in cans, as well as jam. I even make coffee (I use freshly ground coffee). Cocoa with milk is very tasty even without foam.
