How to sterilize empty cans in the microwave

Today I was engaged in blanks, and it was necessary to sterilize empty cans.
I have been doing (for some time now) this procedure in the microwave - I show how:

Pour some clean water into clean, washed jars, about 50-100 ml. (depends on the volume-size of the can).
Cover the jars with lids (just cover without screwing the lids tightly).
Put the jars with the lids covered in the microwave.

We sterilize at high power, about 5-8 minutes (depending on the volume of the can)

After sterilization, the jars become "sweaty" inside, and very hot! I do not recommend taking them out with bare hands, only with a towel.

Now you can put prepared fruits and vegetables in jars and so on and close tightly with lids - that's it!
Or, if required by prescription, sterilize them in a saucepan.
How to proceed further, we look at the following topics:

Oh, and how to put metal covers in the micra, will it spark?

I tried it without a lid, with water, so my water in the jar exploded into a bubble, and I "washed" the whole stove ...
I sterilize everything in the oven ...

Ksyusha, tested by our own experience - nothing sparks or explodes

I repeat - the banks do not need to be tightly closed with lids! No need to screw them on the banks!
You need to put the lid on the jar and leave it like that, let it hang on the jar!

My micra does not let in any form of metal or foil, the fireworks still turn out. Although the instructions say that bones on meat must be wrapped in foil. Yeah.
I sterilize only cans of water in a micron.

Well, you can do that: sterilize empty jars with water in a micron, and hold metal lids in boiling water.

Well, my water bubbled up and exploded, I don't risk it anymore, maybe my microwave is ancient, that's why it doesn't come out ...
Well, okay, I'll be in the oven ..

Why drive the oven for this, it's expensive!
Go to this method, there you can sterilize both empty cans and full ones - and no dirt

Tanya, I also laid this Temka of yours, but I usually sterilize a lot of banquets at once, and I haven't found a suitable bowl to put it on top yet ...
And so the idea is!

Tanya, an interesting way. Thank you so much. And after the expiration of the time, there is still water in the mikro in the jars as in the photo? If so, then just pour it out and add the product?

Marina, I tried this year to sterilize the cans, and during preparation and if necessary, according to the recipe, I pour out the water, cover it with a lid. Since the jars are hot, the droplets dry out and then I put the food in.
I hope, Tanya, will not be offended that I answered instead of her

I will not be offended! Every opinion will be important to us

There is enough liquid in the jars and it does not have time to evaporate in 5-6 minutes of sterilization.
This is already clean hot water. As a rule, I use clean water from a water filter (aquaphor five-stage) so that the water is completely clean. The bottom photo shows that water remained at the bottom of the cans (under the drops).

I take out the cans with a towel (they are hot), and pour out the water, we don't need it at all when laying food. The inside of the jars can be damp, wet - no need to wipe!
So...we act as usual - our banks are clean and sterilized.

I put 4 cans each .. so as not to touch each other. I washed it .. on the bottom of the water I leave it, so that the bottom completely covers it.
3 minutes at 900 watts.
Either I'm waiting to cool down, if not urgently .. or I take out silicone tacks.
Lids upside down into a saucepan and pour boiling water and a kettle. They are waiting in the wings there.
and pickled cucumbers and tomatoes .. I also sterilize for jam.

susika, Larochka, in general, you see, I have such a flimsy microwave that barely 2 cans fit. I didn’t even hope for success, but it’s cool, really fast and not troublesome.
