Apple Custard Pie

Ingredients

Dough
chicken egg 1 PC.
sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
butter 180 g
sugar 150 gr.
baking powder 1/2 tsp
wheat flour 380 gr.
salt pinch
Cream
milk 300 ml.
chicken egg 1 PC.
potato starch 2 tbsp. l.
sugar 4-5 st. l.
vanillin pinch
Filling
fresh apples 3-4 medium
Additionally
cinnamon, powdered sugar to taste and desire

Cooking method

  • For the dough, mix flour with salt and baking powder, add cold butter, chop it beforehand, grind everything into crumbs, then add the egg, sugar, sour cream and knead the soft dough, put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • We are doing the cream ourselves. Stir the egg, sugar, vanillin and starch with a whisk, pour in cold milk, mix well and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Peel the apples, cut into thin slices.
  • Divide the dough into 2 unequal parts 1/3 and 2/3.
  • We distribute most of it in the form, making the sides (form 20-22 cm in diameter).
  • Put the apples on the dough, if you like cinnamon, you can sprinkle them, put the hot cream on top.
  • The rest of the dough is thinly rolled out and cut into strips, spread on top of the cream.
  • We bake the cake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve chilled.
