Ingredients

Shortbread dough:
Flour / s 200g
Baking powder 10g
Sugar 70g
Butter or margarine 100g
Egg yolk 1 PC.
Salt Pinch
Biscuit dough:
Eggs 2 whole + 1 protein
Sugar 125g
Flour 80g
Salt pinch
Filling:
Apples 4-5pcs.
Lemon 1 PC.
Raisins or dried cranberries 50g
Starch 1 tbsp. l
Sugar 60-100g
Cinnamon taste
Peanut 50g
Almond petals 1-2 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  • Shortbread dough:
  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add soft butter or margarine and yolk, chopped into pieces. Pour in sugar, you can add a little vanilla sugar for flavor. Knead the dough until a lump forms. Add art. l spoon of ice water (if the dough crumbles and does not collect into a lump). Transfer to a table and mix to form a ball.
  • Place the dough in a greased and floured baking dish. Evenly cover the bottom and sides to a height of about 3 cm. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator.
  • Filling:
  • Remove the seeds from the lemon. Prepare apples. Grate (or in a processor) apples and lemon. Add starch, stir with a spoon. Add sugar and cinnamon immediately before baking and stir.
  • Prepare the biscuit dough as usual.
  • Place the filling on the dough in a mold. Spread and level the surface evenly. Sprinkle raisins or cranberries and peanuts (coarsely crushed) on the apples.
  • Pour the biscuit dough on top, spreading evenly. Sprinkle almond petals over the top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes in the "bottom" mode at 230 degrees. Then 20-30 minutes at 180-200 degrees, as usual or until tender.
  • Cool the cake first in a baking dish for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Put the cooled cake on a plate and cut.
