Kissel from fiber from Ivan-tea

Ingredients

fiber from Ivan-tea 2 tbsp. l. with top
boiling water 1L
starch 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • This recipe was born by itself when I saw how much starchy juice is contained in the stems of Ivan tea. We just take 2 tbsp. l. fiber from Ivan-tea and fill them with a liter of boiling water, close and leave for a day at room temperature. The solution turns out to be rich, thick like a thin jelly, with a taste and aroma characteristic of Ivan-tea.
  • Kissel from fiber from Ivan-tea
  • However, when heated, it turned out that there was not enough starch for a good jelly consistency. So the starch had to be added.
  • We filter the infusion (do not throw away the tea leaves!), Dilute the starch and heat with stirring to a boil, but do not boil. We cool and drink.

  • Kissel has the taste, aroma and benefits of Ivan-tea, and besides, it acquires additional medicinal properties characteristic of jelly. Coats the stomach, protecting against the aggressive effects of gastric juice. Recommended for gastritis with high acidity, duodenal ulcer, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and for debilitated patients.
  • The tea cake can be used in baking.

So she lay on the surface when I saw how much starch in the Ivan tea juice. And after all, the juice went only after the second scroll. And when I poured it in and left it for a day, I looked, and the next day it was no longer tea, but a thin jelly. So I just strengthened it a little and that's it.

And I just gnawed the stems - sweet, tasty ... And you wouldn't think that there is starch there. But what, it turns out ... Indeed, we have not yet learned everything what Ivan-tea is capable of. Listen, Lin, this recipe is nowhere to be found ... You need to patent it ... Like all other recipes ...

Yes, I think the presence of starch in the juice greatly expands the range of culinary use of Ivan-tea.

Well, smart girl! And you, and especially your husband, will be healthy

Very original. And take Ludmila's advice about the patent seriously. If you do not patent it, others will. Some recipes for Ivan tea, for example, are already patented.

Linochka, I suggest you do it again! You can, I know!
Linadoc
Andrey A, Ludmila, I'm glad that I appreciated the advantages of this recipe! I already have a patent for an invention, only a method of treatment, but it doesn't matter. It is important that I now know exactly how difficult and costly it is, so I have not patented many other inventions and I will think about this recipe ten more times before embarking on this. In any case, use it, have fun and benefit!

So the toad doesn't choke you?

Linochka, yes, I suspected that things were not so simple with patents ... Maybe you will find some time ...

If it's not a secret, can you figure out how much such happiness costs as a patent? And is it worth it? I just think that the topic of ivan tea jelly is quite worthy of commercial attention. Maybe you can sell the patent later ... It will just be a shame if someone (not the author) does so. By the way, Lyudmila, the situation is the same with regard to fiber.
