Ingredients

Cooking method

  • I’m lazy and don’t know how to chop cabbage. And I don't have a special knife. And I love cabbage terribly! And so that it is not crushed in chunks.
  • I can eat fried, stewed, raw, sauerkraut fillings every day.
  • I found a way to cook it first, and then cut it soft so as not to strain too much.
  • We take the cabbage and cut it into large pieces. We do not use the stump.
  • Stewed cabbage (steamed) for those who are too lazy to crumble (dish or filling)
  • We put it in a multicooker pressure cooker or a multicooker, or just on a duck. Salt and spices are not needed.
  • In a pressure cooker, an hour and a half will be enough for you at medium pressure. A little bit of water to the bottom.
  • In a slow cooker a little longer, but you can open and check. There is a little more water on the bottom.
  • In the oven you will need 4-5 hours at a temperature of 150-160 degrees. Water is also a little less than five millimeters (but you have to control it).
  • Cabbage should not boil, but languish - steam. In finished form, it acquires a rich golden with a baked note. The density must be maintained so that the cabbage does not sit in porridge!

  • BUT!!! It's better not to even try hot cabbage! Tastes brrr ... Let it cool completely and ripen. Then be sure to season.
  • You can serve it cold as an independent dish, but I love it with Angelina linseed sauce, People's Winter ketchup, and also ... I like to pour it with vigorous cabbage brine, sprinkle with black salt, herbs and garlic and with black bread !!!!!!
  • Great for fillings in pies and pies. In the soup you can.
  • And most importantly, it slices beautifully! Easier than a steamed turnip!
