Village meatballs (Tefteli vyaskovyya)

Ingredients

beef 200 gr.
pork 200 gr.
buckwheat (rice) groats 2 tbsp. l.
fat (vegetable oil) 1.5 tbsp. l.
bulb onions 2 pcs. (70 gr.)
pawn flour 1-2 tbsp. l.
tomato paste 0.5 tbsp.
sour cream 0.5 tbsp.
egg 1 PC.
salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Cook loose porridge from buckwheat or rice (I take 5-6 tablespoons of ready-made - that is). Pass the prepared meat through a meat grinder. Finely chop the onion, fry until golden brown. Mix everything by adding an egg, salt, pepper. Form meatballs from the resulting mass, roll them in flour and fry.
  • Put the meatballs in one layer in a frying pan, pour over tomato paste mixed with sour cream, and put in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • Serve with vegetables and herbs.
  • Bon Appetit!

The dish is designed for

14-16 pcs.

Time for preparing:

0.5 hours (if porridge is ready)

Cooking program:

stove, oven

Note

Quite an interesting version of meatballs, with buckwheat - for an amateur, with rice - very even. For pouring, if you like gravy, I advise you to take liquid sour cream and tomato paste or dilute with water (which I usually do).

Ksyusha, Olgathank you girls! yes, yes, I also always have a portion of porridge, which, well, no one else wants yet, even though it's not according to the recipe, I like to add millet like that, it's delicious

Minced meat is traditional for me - mixed (pork + chicken). The onion was not sautéed (otherwise the liver will swear for a long time and knock from the inside). Doused in flour, fried.
Sauce - cream + ketchup.
The saucepan is large, the sauce was not poured in a thick layer. Therefore, after holding it in the oven for 10 minutes, turned the meatballs over and added another 10 minutes.
This is the only recipe in which I liked the minced egg (or rather, I did not notice it). In the rest, the egg gives a tangible stiffness.
With cereals, this is the case. Well, I, so true "Miss Curiosity" divided the minced meat into three parts. In one I added rice, in another buckwheat, in the third “friendship”.

Ting, you're right - buckwheat is quite an amateur. But we did not notice the difference between rice and "friendship". Although it is definitely tasty with buckwheat. But my food cockroaches ask for rice in meatballs, and put buckwheat side by side.
Tinochka, thank you very much for the excellent recipe! I take to the piggy bank of my loved ones

Delicious non-spoiled recipe (especially if there is porridge left). Made with minced chicken and rice. Lyalka who was younger (1.4 years old) ate with pleasure, and the older one can feed meat only in the kindergarten
