Ingredients

Butter (room t) 150 gr.
Sugar 1/2 tbsp.
Corn flour 1 tbsp.
Wheat flour 1/2 tbsp.
Salt pinch
Soda 1/3 tsp
Vanillin on the tip of a knife
Glass 250 ml.

Cooking method

  • Beat soft butter with sugar. Mix cornmeal with salt and soda, sift. Add gradually to the oil mixture, stirring with a spatula. Then, gradually adding the sifted wheat flour, knead into a soft dough. Do not knead for a long time. Roll it into a sausage, wrap it in plastic and refrigerate for an hour. Then cut the dough into circles about 2 cm thick, put on a baking sheet further apart (because the cookies increase 3 times). Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes, until golden brown. Cookies straight out of the oven are soft, as soon as they cool, they will harden

I found the recipe on the Say7 forum. The author offers to roll out the cookies and cut them out with a mold. It didn't work out for me. I think for this you need to add at least half a glass of wheat flour. The cookies turned out to be very tasty, and really shortbread
