Potato cutlets with spinach (lean)

Ingredients

peeled potatoes 1000 gram
frozen spinach pressed 100g
semolina or flour 2-3 st. spoons
salt taste
ground black pepper option
vegetable oil for frying
semolina (bread crumbs)

Cooking method

  • Peel and boil potatoes in salted water.
  • Make mashed potatoes. Allow to cool until lukewarm.
  • Defrost spinach (or take fresh), squeeze, cut.
  • If you take fresh spinach, then pour boiling water over it and let the water drain.
  • Mix spinach with mashed potatoes, add semolina or flour.
  • Salt and pepper if necessary.
  • Form the cutlets with wet hands.
  • Roll in semolina or breadcrumbs.
  • Fry until golden brown on both sides over medium heat.
  • Serve with vegetables or lean mushroom sauce, or with lean mayonnaise.
