Spiderweb Cookies

Ingredients

Softened butter 200 g
Wheat flour 300 g
Milk 4 tbsp. l.
Sugar 200 g
Baking powder* 1/2 tsp
Egg (I have linseed) 1 PC
Zest of 1 lemon (not used)
For the chocolate spider web:
Chocolate 100 g
Butter 30 g

Cooking method

  • For a flaxseed egg, grind 1 tbsp in a coffee grinder or grinder. l. flax seeds (I have white), add 3 tbsp. l. water, stir and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. If you are using a regular egg, then skip this point).
  • Beat the egg with sugar until white.
  • Grate lemon zest and add to butter (not used).
  • Add flour, baking powder (* was not in the original) and knead into a soft dough.
  • Further in the recipe, it was proposed to transfer the dough into a pastry bag and squeeze it onto a baking sheet covered with paper. I didn't have a bag, I tried a regular bag - it breaks. There was an option - a biscuit press, but the dough was too steep for him, so I added milk.
  • Bake the deposited biscuits in an oven preheated to 190C for about 10-15 minutes until a light ruddy color.
  • Use a spatula to carefully place the cookies on the tray.
  • For a chocolate spider web, melt butter and chocolate in a water bath, transfer to a syringe and draw cobwebs.
