Salt taste
Allspice 4 things.
Cognac 4 tbsp. l.
Carrot, apple, onion, garlic cloves if desired and celery stalk for substrate 1-2 pcs.
Freshly ground pepper taste
Honey (optional) 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • This time I wanted to cook a soft, fragrant, boiled chicken with an oriental flavor, so that it would go straight from the bones. A slow cooker, like nothing else, came up with this idea.

The recipe was invented during the preparation based on our family recipe, which I will definitely share.
For the garlic, I just added the whole cloves to the sauce after 3.5 hours. Whoever is not embarrassed by the combination of cognac and garlic can rub chicken with it. But it is better then dried.
For added flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon and / or ginger to the filling.
You can cook such a chicken in pieces, only the time, of course, will have to be reduced.
Add a spoonful of honey to the filling if desired.

Let me remind you a recipe with a similar filling, we also like it very much, but it is for the oven. Can be converted for a slow cooker, and others are offered there.
