Cabbage stewed with chicken (multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH18)

Ingredients

chicken fillet (I use skinless thigh fillet) 450-600 g
White cabbage 600 g
onions (peeled) 150 g
carrots (peeled) 150 g
tomato ketchup (not spicy) 30 g (2 tbsp. L.)
sunflower oil 3 tbsp. l.
salt 1 tsp
ground black pepper 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf 2-3 pcs.
seasoning "Vegeta" 1 tbsp. l.
ground dried garlic taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the chicken fillet into medium pieces, chop the cabbage into thin strips, cut the onion into thin quarter rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  • Pour sunflower oil into a multicooker saucepan and put chicken pieces.
  • Cabbage stewed with chicken (multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH18)
  • Insert the pan into the body (do not close the lid). Turn on the multicooker and set the "Baking" mode for 20 minutes.
  • Fry the meat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
  • Then add the prepared onions and carrots. Stir and continue frying (lid open), stirring occasionally.

  • After the end of the program, turn off the multicooker.
  • Add chopped cabbage, tomato ketchup, salt, pepper, dried garlic, seasoning, bay leaf to a saucepan and mix everything.

  • Close the lid of the multicooker until it clicks. Set the "Extinguishing" mode for 1.5 hours.
  • After the signal of the end of the program, turn off the multicooker, open the lid and stir the contents of the pan.

  • The chicken is soft, and the cabbage is tender, but not boiled.
  • Can be served immediately.

As a basis, I took the recipe of the same name from the site of the Redmond multicooker, corrected the weight and composition of the ingredients, and also supplemented the description of the preparation.
The original recipe uses 450 g of chicken fillet, but I increased it to 600 g - I like this ratio of the amount of cabbage and chicken in this dish more.
