Ingredients

Pork neck steak (2 pcs) about 350 gr.
For the marinade:
Honey 0.5 tsp
Spices (black, allspice, nutmeg) 0.4 tsp (to taste)
Soy sauce 2-3 st. l.
Olive oil (vegetable) 2-3 st. l.
Fresh rosemary twig
Salt 0.5 tsp
For garnish:
Big apples (sweet and sour necessarily !!) 2 pcs.
Large red onion 2 pcs.
Ginger (fresh or dry ground) slice (1 tsp)
Chilli taste
Salt 0.5 tsp
Brown sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Butter (do not replace) 40 gr.
Garlic 3 teeth
White wine (Krambambula is better) 2 tbsp. l.
Lemon juice or apple cider vinegar for apples

Cooking method

  • Marinate the meat.
  • Cut the steak and beat it in a bag.
  • Mix everything for the marinade and brush over the steaks. Leave to marinate.

  • Cut the onion into quarters. Peel the apples, remove the core. Cut into medium-sized cubes and sprinkle with lemon juice or apple cider vinegar so as not to darken.
  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. It is creamy, the taste from the use of another will deteriorate. Put onions and fry until soft, do not overcook!
  • Add chili, grated ginger and chopped garlic to the onion. Fry a little, literally a minute or two. Add apples and sugar, fry for a couple of minutes. Add wine - I have Krambambula (it gives a magical aroma), mix well, cover with a lid and simmer apples until soft. Be careful not to stew or cook the porridge. We remove from heat so as not to be extinguished. We correct the taste and pungency, leave it under the lid.

I found this recipe in the newspaper Vkusnyatina No. 6 for 2012. True, there pork was baked in foil on an apple pillow. I cooked like this for a long time. But then I saw a similar recipe from Tatiana Nazaruk on her blog. And although there is a slightly different side dish, I wanted to try crossing the recipes. It turned out great. The apple garnish is ready to eat with anything.
