Ingredients

Pork (neck) 300 g
Beef (neck) 200 g
Milk 150 ml for bread + 50 ml for minced meat
White bread (stale) 3 pieces
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Sweet pepper 1 PC.
A tomato 1 PC.
Cheese 100 g
Salt, black pepper taste
Dill, parsley, green onion (finely chopped) 2 tbsp. l.
Hot water 250 ml
Vegetable oil 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Soak the bread in milk. I had stale bread and I needed 150 ml of milk to soak it. If your bread is fresh, then, of course, less milk will be needed to soak it.
  • Scroll the meat in a meat grinder, alternating with onions and soaked bread. Add milk, salt and pepper to the resulting minced meat to taste. Knead everything well. Form cutlets - I got 8 pieces.

  • Meat cutlets Delicious Cut the tomato and pepper into small cubes. Chop the greens finely. Combine everything in a bowl and mix
  • Meat cutlets Delicious Put the resulting vegetable mixture on top of each cutlet, about 1 tbsp. l., press with your palm, slightly pressing into the minced meat
  • Meat cutlets Delicious Sprinkle with grated cheese on top
  • Meat cutlets Delicious pour in hot water (but not boiling water!)
  • Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 40 minutes until tender (look at your oven)

  • Ready cutlets are self-sufficient and you can serve any vegetables to them - either in the form of a salad, or fresh, pickled or salted. Well, if you wish, you can cook and serve a side dish with them.

In our family, when I was little, we always loved different cutlets - meat, fish, chicken, vegetable. My grandmothers and my mother cooked them excellently, improvising and adding something new to each recipe! Apparently, therefore, when I got married, I also tried to find some new recipe for making cutlets. I have a whole collection of them, one of which I share with you with great pleasure. This recipe was found long ago in one of the culinary magazines and reworked, taking into account our preferences, according to our taste.
