Balkan stuffed peppers (Steba KB28ECO mini oven)

Ingredients

yellow ground peppers
big carrot 1 piece
big tomato 1 piece
raw potatoes (preferably friable varieties)
bulb onions 1 piece
sour cream 20% 2 tbsp
cream 20% 100 ml
salt, seasonings taste
sunflower oil 2 tbsp

Cooking method

  • (See the video recipe in the note)
  • Finely chop the onion
  • Grate carrots on a fine grater
  • You can simmer the onions and carrots a little in sunflower oil and then put them in the grated potatoes, but you don't have to.
  • Grate raw potatoes on a coarse grater
  • Finely chop the tomato, I made it with a knife.
  • Mix everything in a large bowl with sour cream, cream, salt and seasonings.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil to the vegetable mixture.
  • Peppers to clear of grains and legs.
  • Stuff the peppers with the vegetable mixture to the eyeballs. Pour the remaining juice over the peppers.
  • Oven / oven, I baked in Mini ovens Steba KB28Eco , heat up to 230 g top / bottom mode
  • We put the peppers in a preheated oven and lower the temperature by 220 grams.
  • I baked in a mini oven for 60 minutes + 10 minutes for heating the oven
  • The sauce should thicken and the peppers should be soft, so they are ready.

Such peppers are made by every housewife in Bosnia, for them it is an everyday dish. It can be served alone or with meat.
When I came to Bosnia for the first time, my husband's mother cooked such peppers, and for me it was very unusual in taste, because we don't cook this.
Then my husband's sister showed and told me again. It was their family recipe that passed smoothly into our family.
