Microwave marmalade

Ingredients

Cherry jam 1 glass
Gelatin 30gr.
Water 1 glass

Cooking method

  • Do you have a few jars left over from last year? No who is there? And what to do? Try to make marmalade!
  • Microwave marmalade
  • Pour gelatin into a bowl and pour a glass of plain water. Stir lightly and leave for 30-40 minutes alone.
  • Microwave marmaladeMicrowave marmaladeMicrowave marmalade
  • We take a glass of cherry jam (mine is liquid, not very sweet), pour it into a glass saucepan and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Add the gelatinous mixture to a saucepan with jam. We mix. Don't be alarmed if the gelatin doesn't completely dissolve after stirring.
  • We put the mixture in the microwave for another 1 minute (power is always 800 watts.)
  • We take out. We mix. Sun it has dissolved perfectly, there are no lumps.
  • We put the saucepan for another 1.5 minutes. All! The marmalade is ready!
  • Lubricate the mold cells with sunflower oil, where we will pour the marmalade.
  • And now we pour it into molds, better silicone ones.
  • Microwave marmaladeMicrowave marmalade
  • At the bottom of each mold, I put one cherry from the same jam.
  • And put it in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Here's what we got.
  • Microwave marmalade
  • To make it easier to pull the marmalade out of the cells, you can circle the outline with a toothpick inside. And then it will be easier. Pour sugar into a plate and squeeze the gummies out of the molds onto it. And we roll each marmalade in this sugar very carefully. Put the finished marmalade on baking paper.

Note

The forum has recipes for marmalade. And just boil the fruit, and with agar (but it is not sold everywhere). And gelatin is everywhere. Sometimes, you can pamper yourself and your loved ones with such marmalade. Try it!
And if you like sour marmalade, then add lemon juice to the jam.

I also have a lot of jars of jam left from last year, this year I hardly even cooked jam, because nobody eats it.
Now I know where I will adapt it, but I also need to stock up on gelatin.
Natalishka
Nelya, Try it. According to the recipe, if the jam is thick, then it can be diluted with water. I haven't tried it yet.

NataliaWhat are you doing with us? Recipes pouring out of the horn of beating?
Natasha! You're just smart! Thanks for sharing with us! Tell me. and what can replace liquid jam? Cherry compote?
And urgently to buy small silicone molds, which I did not pay much attention to.
Natalishka
Vika, but probably the sugar should be added. So far I have done everything myself twice. They ate right away "Therefore, I will be glad if someone else will advise
With agar-agar everything is easier “But with gelatin you have to adapt

Natalishka, Natasha thanks for the recipe.
Made today from cherry plum jam.
The result is real elastic gummies.
But .... I have one but
She pulled it out of the molds, sprinkled it with sugar, everything is as it should be. And after 5 minutes the sugar began to melt and now everything
gummies float in sugar syrup. I put it in the refrigerator right away.
What did you do wrong?
Maybe the jam is watery, and next time add less water?
I am waiting for advice, as jam is full of all kinds - plum, apple, gooseberry.
It was a good year.
Did for my husband, husband checked out
Natalishka
Elena, maybe gelatin is different: pard: and then yes, less water. But the marmalade does not work like in the store: girl_pardon: I also had a little leaking. This recipe, as they say, "to eat once". It is not suitable for storage. But if you do it with agar, then yes, you can store it.
Podmosvichka
I'll try to reduce the water.
And then I will buy agar, I saw it in METRO.

Natalishka, 🔗
what an interesting recipe for disposing of the liquid part of the jam 🔗
SvetaI
Natalishka, thanks a lot for the recipe! It had never occurred to me before to make marmalade myself, but it turned out to be so simple!
I have some stocks of failed redcurrant jelly, which is not jelly but just syrup. It makes the perfect marmalade.
I took 1.5 glasses of this syrup, the juice of one small lemon and half a glass of water. Prescription gelatin.
The result is real gummies, very good consistency. Some were rolled in sugar, some in coconut, and some were left just like that.
In general, bald girls are the best. Sugar soon began to flow, coconut flakes are good, but do not hold well, fly around, and nothing is done with bald ones.
What a beauty!

This recipe made my day! And not one day)
I consider it a culinary and technological breakthrough. The carriage of delight and the railway line of thanks to the author!
There was a "nizushka" from red currant "raw" jelly (it usually flakes into a denser top and a syrupy bottom. The "top" went into baking, and the "bottom" hung). On the advice of Sveta-SvetaI, Dr. Otter poured 30 grams of gelatin (the first time she dealt with him) with half a glass of water. After 15 minutes, I found a dense mass of uniform consistency - it seems that the gelatin has dissolved, but it did not have enough water. I added 1.5 cups of red currants and put it in the micra for a minute at full power. I don’t know the power, there are no docks for the unit (I have a "trophy" micra left after the escape of the constricted mummer). After a minute, nothing happened - not even the bowl warmed up. I put the minutes again at 4. And - oh, a miracle! - the gelatin was evenly dispersed, the syrup warmed up, it even bubbled a little. In the absence of small silicones, I poured it into a flat glass baking dish (after having smeared it with oil, although we didn’t need to oil it). I cooled it to room temperature and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Then she took out and cut out the gummies with cuttings for cookies. She did not sprinkle with anything - they are already good - almost transparent, bright uniform color.
The gummies have collected an armful of gratitude from the child, mother and colleagues.
The recipe goes into bookmarks forever. I will try to do it from other berries and fruits. In the meantime, the issue with the processing of red currants has been finally and irrevocably resolved - I will make jelly, and from it gummies (in the season you can try it directly from freshly squeezed juice).
Thank you so much for the recipe!
