Stuffed cabbage rolls stewed in milk (in a pot)

Ingredients

cabbage leaves are not very large 9 pcs
any minced meat 250 g
bulb onions one large (70 gr)
carrot 1 medium (70 gr)
dry rice (long grain) 50 g
salt taste
bay leaf, black pepper, white, red peas 3 pcs
milk about 0.6 l.
water 1 l

Cooking method

  • The whims of my family do not end on "lazy" stuffed cabbage rolls, my husband doesn’t eat lazy, he doesn’t eat with tomato either, for him - separate, in milk I carcass. The calculation is to eat three times (three pots, respectively).
  • We boil water, scald cabbage leaves in it, cut off dense parts on them.
  • We wash the rice, add finely chopped onions, carrots grated on a coarse grater, minced meat, salt well (the mass should be more salty than you like). We wrap our mixture loosely in cabbage leaves, put three things in a pot, add (literally a pinch), add spices (1 bay leaf each, 2 peppercorns each), fill it with milk so that it almost reaches the top edge of the stuffed cabbage, cover the pots with lids and put in the oven for about an hour.
  • Bon Appetit!

Note

A dietary version of stuffed cabbage, I personally prefer in tomato sauce, but as an option for variety - delicious
It is better to underfill milk in pots than pour it, as it naturally boils away

An interesting option to stew in milk. I always mix the tomato with sour cream. I have never tried this before. Well done, I found a way out.

Angela, thanks to stew in milk is delicious, but, of course, it turns out to be a rather dietary dish
