Note

I love these meatballs. The decoy is absolutely not felt in them. Perhaps one rice will be enough, but it is better to mingle. Recommend!

and for tying I add a little mashed potatoes to fish meatballs and to cutlets too .. it keeps its shape perfectly and I take the rice completely ready, I'm afraid to simmer the meatballs for a long time .. they are tender ..)
I'll try with semolina now - thanks for the idea and delicious photos !!!
ang-kay
kavminsThanks for the mashed potato idea. You can't put it out with it for a long time, as if it will fall apart. But it should be very gentle.

Angel! I love fish in all forms. I make meatballs, but I never make meatballs. Thank you advised!
And since almost everyone shares additives ... I add raw potatoes passed through a meat grinder to fishcakes. And juicy, and starch here is very convenient.
ang-kay
Ira,Thanks. I also add potatoes sometimes, if the fish is not watery. But there is usually a lot of water. And try to make meatballs. I think I will like this option.

And I am grateful for the delicious meatballs, my daughter (2.5 years old) ate and even asked for a supplement! (which did not happen with chicken meatballs) True, I used pollock instead of hake.
ang-kay
Svetlana, good health to you and your daughter. Let the healthy grow. and a fish is needed for this. It is difficult for the children to feed her, but it's good that meatballs helped. And it doesn't matter which fish. They are good with any. I also did it from pollock, mackerel. Once upon a time even from a small silver carp.
