Good day, fellow citizens)) My blender burned out and I was concerned about buying a new one. I really want to have a cube cutter. And with this function, as I understand it, there are only two types. Philips and Vitek. At Phillips, I do not like the package at all, besides, his cubes, as I understand it, are large. And they write about Vitek 50/50. Someone is downright delighted, and someone spits poison. Mostly they write about the frequent breakdown of the gearbox. I would like real feedback from the owners of these blenders, especially Vitek, is it worth it or not? If this topic has already been raised, please send me a link.

Obviously no one has this model, or the owners have not yet entered the forum. I could not stand it and already bought at my own peril and risk, issued a paid warranty for 2 years. I'll try it in the evening))

I have one. I have been using it for two years now. Only this year something began to rumble inside when cutting into cubes. But it's my own fault. I cut tough foods into cubes, or rather undercooked beets. It was evidently difficult for him to cut. I called the services about the repair, I did not find it. It's easier to take one more. I take it with me to the dacha. Cuts everything perfectly. Beat, make the dough in a large bowl with a knife, make mashed potatoes. In general, for less than 4000 rubles, such an assistant in the kitchen. I'm glad.

Can't you cut raw potatoes and cucumbers? is it really only boiled products?
Midnight lady
Lilyanna, the forum has blender theme there I read reviews about Vitek, in the last third of the topic somewhere.

Can't you cut raw potatoes and cucumbers? is it really only boiled products?
I cut beets, steamed, and apparently not fully cooked. It was hard for him. I made cucumbers, tried only boiled potatoes. I didn't make it raw. The husband said that it takes longer to wash a couple of potatoes for soup. I tried it with a cube cutter when I had to cut a bowl of salad. Last year, I cut zucchini into cubes for conservation. Everything was cut perfectly. Stumbled on a beet.
AnastasiaK
Lilyanna, congratulations on your purchase! In the topic about the blender, I wrote positive reviews about Vitek 1480. I like it. I use it carefully, I do absolutely everything, I especially like to make all kinds of dough, chop vegetables for freezing, well, cubes from boiled vegetables for salads and raw ones for freezing.
Lilyanna
Well, I tried the cube cutter. I share my impressions; the pickles and onions are flawlessly cut. The cubes are even, there is no waste. The eggs are also good, a little not so even, but I cut them with my hands not flawlessly. The boiled chicken, for which I was most afraid, was cut into cubes and, in addition to cubes, there was a certain amount of chicken crumbs, I don't know how to put it another way, some very very small pieces. But I didn't succeed with potatoes ((Either I did not cool it enough, or I chose the wrong speed, or the variety was not suitable, but the potatoes turned out to be an unappetizing porridge that was difficult even to stir with a salad. Sadness ... I hope next time There is another misunderstanding, I put everything together correctly, closed the lid itself and the blender on it until it clicks, but when I cut the salad, this lid rose mutely from the edge opposite from the lock, there was a feeling of some kind of unreliability or something. in general, the feeling is pleasant, it is convenient to work, wash too, although I cut myself slightly. It is a pity that the lid cannot be washed, but this is the case with all such models.I am very glad that I bought a guarantee, I will use a new toy both in the tail and in the mane for now new.
AnastasiaK
Lilyanna, adapt! The potatoes are more likely to be overcooked, or such a variety, it happens, and you can't cut it with a knife normally. The lid must be firmly fixed, it may just be that on one side the latch did not get into the groove. Now I'm closing on the machine.
Yes, one more thing, if you plan to use potatoes for salad, I cut them raw into cubes, and then steam them. Very comfortably. And I put eggs there, at the same time they boil, and do not burst, whole.
aniramka
and I boil potatoes for Vitek for salad in the microwave.
I bought myself on NG .... there was also a lot of agony and doubts .... I bought it thanks to Anastasia, she really praised him)))))
I rarely use a cube cutter now, mainly a potato grinder, a whisk, a leg,
never took the mill
but I have a lot of other equipment that I can replace)))))))
and by the way, now there are a lot of blender sets with a cube cutter - scarlet, polaris, bosch
Lilyanna
I also tend to the idea of chopping raw potatoes and boiling them for a couple. Although this will require 2 times to collect and wash the harvester and this is no longer interesting. You need to figure it out with the lid, like I did everything right. Okay, I reassure myself that he is still under warranty.

my stupid head and haste let me down ((without really studying all the information, like scalded, I galloped off to buy a cube cutter, I dreamed about it for a long time, but the attachment for the Kenwood combine costs 7.5 thousand !!! and I have a strict toad, it will crush and If (mmm) the thread gets covered, I will try to return the money and buy Polaris. And if it works, then even better, I will be happy and cut the cubes. About the scarlet, by the way, the seller said that nothing is better than Vitka, and the equipment is it is poorer and there is no potato grinder.
Lilyanna
although, over there, they also write about Polaris that he was covered ...
AnastasiaK
Lilyanna, no - no - no, take your time, just not Polaris! My friend Polaris, we also discussed it in the blender topic, and so she is extremely dissatisfied with the cube cutter! Vitek, as you saw for yourself, cuts most of the products almost without waste, and in Polaris, a lot is hammered into the disc, and take everything off, clean, and there is porridge, even from raw onions, even from boiled potatoes.
In that topic, I showed a photo, I cut it raw, cook it, and the salad is ready
Blender VITEK VT-1480
and you don't need to wash it twice.
Well, it depends on which salad to make).
Lilyanna
here is your review and read) and that this polaris was covered too. I had something from their equipment, a kettle and, like, an iron, everything was fine, no complaints, I just didn't take them when I moved, I started renting out an apartment and left a lot of equipment there. And for some reason there are no reviews about scarlet. Eh)) if only the twist took root!
AnastasiaK
Lilyanna, so, a friend was exchanged for a new one under a guarantee, everything works, but I absolutely do not like how it works. There is no small bowl in the kit, but in the large one everything is smeared on the walls. And Vitek's equipment is good, everything is there. And with a potato grinder, you can also wipe cottage cheese on a casserole.
Lilyanna
In terms of configuration, Vitek is the best of all. In general, as I understand it, as long as it works, it is the best, and if anything, the warranty has already been purchased.
AnastasiaK
Lilyanna, I agree, this is not the biggest waste, as long as we make money on the expensive, it’s necessary what it costs. It has been working for me for almost a year and a half, every day, but not once, pah-pah, the main thing is with a motor neatly, with a gearbox, and everything will serve.
Lilyanna
and by the time it is out of date, probably many new interesting, high-quality and inexpensive models will appear.
AnastasiaK
Lilyanna, the right attitude, things for us, not us for them. Then we will buy more abruptly
Lilyanna
Well, it's been a few days, I'll report back. All these days, except for 2 unloading days on raw vegetables and fruits, I have okroshka, olivier and vegetable salad on my table, beets for vinaigrette are boiled for tomorrow. The cube cutter is excellent, the size of the cube is good, neither big nor small. The only thing I don't understand is why the manufacturer skimped on at least 1-2 more grilles in a set of different sizes. Such stinginess infuriates me, because it's so simple and inexpensive ... okay, this is a rhetorical question. The small chopper is very happy, for our small family so far, just right, my favorite adjika is done in 10-15 seconds and in the required volume, if it were not for a small bowl, I would not do it in a large one, we do not eat so much. The simplest and most delicious adjika recipe for me: tomato + garlic + salt + hot pepper + bell pepper + vegetable oil with a smell + herbs. Put everything in the chopper and turn on for 10 seconds. Graters and cutters are also nothing, although with my beloved Kenwood I am calmer, there I am more confident in quality and am not afraid that it will fall apart.
Lilyanna
a small minus, I will not get used to the sharpness of the knives and the grate, I have cut my fingers three times already, but this is not a minus not to the technique, but to my crooked handles.
AnastasiaK
LilyannaHow glad I am that you like the assistant! Fine! The main thing is not to rush when inserting your leg into the lid, pay attention to the snap and load, so that the solid does not get caught. My mom broke the gearbox so much - she didn't snap it all the way and cut off the fasteners ...
I plow every day. You’ll get to the dough ... Anything except yeast ..
What grater are you missing? There is a usual one, there are potato pancakes (I have never used them yet), there are bars (fries), there are simply plates. I have enough. There are no thin stripes, like on Korean carrots. Or does something else happen?
aniramka
few lattices for cubes)))) well, to make it smaller, for me the cube is too big for salads
AnastasiaK
aniramka, and I just have a cube).
Lilyanna
Yes, in general, there are enough graters, I am confused by some flimsy Vitek, although maybe I inspired it myself, Kenwood's design is more solid, there I don't even worry about breaking / not breaking. By the way, Kenwood's grater for potato pancakes is not very good, my husband doesn't like it, but today I want to try Vitkovskaya, it looks more like the usual one that my husband rubs. I don't like poking around on such a grater by hand, so he rubs it himself if he wants to. Today we will try a new one, my husband is Belarusian and he treats potato pancakes with trepidation, so if he approves, then this is really what we need.
Lilyanna
So I say, was it really difficult to put at least 1-2 grilles in the kit? in fact, it's so simple, add the same plates to the same base, just place them a little wider and a little narrower. Producers of grubs and misers. This is not only true for Vitek, they are all like that!

Do not bother, throw it away and that's it, there are still no spare parts for it, all products of this Brand are disposable.
