Fruit in wine jelly

Ingredients

Different fruits and berries, diced 250 g
Sweet white wine (Sauternes type) or semi-sweet 300 ml
Sugar when using unsweetened wine 1 tbsp. l.
Raspberry syrup (currant or optional) 1 tbsp. l.
Gelatin 3.5 plates

Cooking method

  • - Various sweet fruits and berries, wash, dry and cut into cubes. (I have strawberries, two grapes, a peach and a pear.
  • - Soak gelatin in a little wine.
  • - Fruits are distributed in glasses.
  • - Heat the sweet wine to 70 C, add a spoonful of delicious syrup. Add sugar if the wine is unsweetened. We try, if you are not very sweet, then add syrup or sugar.
  • - Put the soaked gelatin in the wine and knead well until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  • - Let us cool our future with jelly so that the fruits remain "alive". Then pour the mixture into glasses with chopped fruit. We put in the refrigerator, covering with foil until the jelly completely solidifies.
  • The more varied and sweeter the fruit, the tastier it is. The presence of some sweet fruit is a must!
  • If you don’t regret Sauternes, you will get a full exclusive.
  • And the dessert is awesome! The degree can be reduced by diluting with juice or compote syrup. The taste will be softer.

The dish is designed for

3 glasses of 220 ml

I have long wanted to cook fruit in wine jelly, but I could not find a recipe suitable for us.
I had to invent and measure everything myself. We liked!

Mind you, the dessert is really big!
