Jamie Oliver's Lemon Pudding

Ingredients

Butter 55 gr.
Sugar 115 gr.
Vanillin
Lemon large 1 PC.
Large eggs 2 pcs.
Milk 238 ml.
Premium flour with baking powder at the tip of a knife 55 gr.

Cooking method

  • We will get the oil in advance to soften.
  • Grind butter, sugar and vanillin well in the bowl of the food processor.
  • Separate the whites from the yolks and refrigerate for now. Remove the zest from the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
  • Add the yolks to our mixture, without stopping to grind.
  • We introduce flour, lemon juice - the combine continues to work. Everything got mixed up. We stop and pour in lukewarm milk. Mix everything well.
  • The consistency of the dough is thin. Thinner than pancakes. Now beat the whites separately until stable peaks. Now we will mix the proteins into our mass, kneading very carefully and in one direction.
  • We grease the form well with oil (I greased it with vegetable oil).
  • Pour the dough into a mold, which we put in another mold (baking sheet) with water. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. We bake for about 30-35 minutes. Do not bake, because when you take it out of the oven, it will still bake from the heat of the mold.
  • The dessert is very tender, it is better to eat with a spoon.
  • Serve sprinkled with icing sugar and garnished with candied fruits and lemon zest. Delicious with a scoop of lemon ice cream.
