Green apple 2 pcs.
Shrimp (tiger) 12 pcs.
Salt taste
Olive oil 1-2 tbsp. l.
Ground pepper (preferably a mixture of red and white) taste
Carambola and fresh pineapple if available or optional
Cream or milk in puree by consistency

Cooking method

  • I offer a dish that is easy to prepare and healthy in its action and composition. Having dinner in this way, you are guaranteed not to gain extra pounds and not overload your stomach on a hot summer evening.
  • Preparation
  • - Peel the celery root and green apple. (The ratio is somewhere: 1 part apples to 4-5 parts celery) Cut into medium cubes and cook until tender in a little water under the lid. (You can soften in the microwave or steam it.)
  • - Chop celery and apple in a blender or rub through a sieve. Add, if desired, a little cream or milk. Of course, it tastes better with milk or cream. Salt a little. The puree should not be too runny.
  • - Fry the shrimps, peeled from the shell, in a little olive oil on both sides. If the shrimps are half-cooked (red), then literally heat them in olive oil. If fresh frozen, then fry until reddened. You can add a little salt to the shrimp and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • - Cut the green peeled apple into small cubes, sprinkle with lemon juice.

  • - Put the mashed potatoes on a plate, put the sliced ​​apples on top, decorate with shrimps. Between the shrimps, you can put some exotic fruit (slices of fresh pineapple or carambola). Sprinkle with olive oil and sprinkle with ground pepper to taste (I have a mixture of red and white).

Carambola or star fruit grows mainly in the southeastern parts of Asia. These sweet, palatable fruits are not only unusual and healthy, but also very rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, low in acid, sugar and sodium.
